Separate the water bowl from the food bowl. It’ll help with him drinking water. Usually cats eat away from their food because in the wild cats do it so they don’t contaminate their water source

Water fountains are fantastic for kitties. I have 6 rescues. Also cats instinctually associate still water with bad water. Running water symbolizes fresh clean water to them. So a fountain is ideal. :)

If you are planning on keeping the cat inside your flat then definately get him company. Cats are not solitary animals. They actually form very tight family bonds. As a human you can never substitute for an actual cat friend (them cuddling up together, playing, cleaning each other,...). Speaking from experience, it is not much additional work having 2 instead of 1 cat. It can even be less stressful as you will not feel as guilty leaving them alone from time to time or not having time to play with them because they entertain themselves. I have introduced my second cat half a year after getting my first one and then gotten a third after another whole year. As long as they are still young it is usually not a problem.

Naomi! The water situation! I had the same issue with my cat when she was a kitten, she wouldnt drink at all. So i started of by giving her cat milk and slowly diluting it with water till u only use water.

Erstmal omg ist der adorable😍😍😍 und bitte bitte bitte verzichte auf Trockenfutter (außer du bist mal lange weg dann ist es ok ) solange es Getreide frei ist allgemein darauf sollte man achten kein Getreide und kein zucker! Das kostet vielleicht ein paar ct mehr erspart aber viel beim tierarzt❤ ich kann dir Tundra als nassfutter empfehlen wenn er älter ist so eine dose hält gut 2 tage und für jetzt animomda carny kitten das ist super hochwertig und stinkt kaum.. Als Trockenfutter ist das von Markus-Mühle "beutenah" top Ich hoffe du siehst das kommentar das ist nähmlich wirklich ziemlich wichtig und viel zu viele katzen Besitzer füttern ihre tiere krank und falsch😢❤ Und die eine pflanze neben deiner tür ist giftig für kittis Edit* schmeiß das Katzenklo deo am besten sofort weg das ist pures gift und absolut schädlich wenn du das Klo ordentlich sauber machst und wechselst dann stinkt das auch nichts

19:18 we had/have the exact same thing you *really* need to clean this *every* week sometimes even more often it’s perfect for the cats they drink the whole time but we just once forgot to clean it and it started smelling and even after we cleaned it like 456382 times the cats still don’t use it. We put it away for like 3 months after that and now they use it again. And he’s ADORABLE my heart uffff

Keep feeding him the wet food!It helps keep them hydrated. My cat was the same way when he was a kitten but he’s better at drinking water now.I fed my cat wet food until he was almost a year and then I slowly transitioned him into dry food by mixing it in the wet food.

I have 2 cats and i tried a lot of litter to find out which one is the best and for me i can say that Cat's Best Gold/smart pallets ( green/purple bag) is the best because the litter parts are a little big so they will not be all over your apartment and it has not much dust, because the dust in litter (also perfume) is not good for your cats lungs. You can buy Cat's Best at Zooplus.

I think you can call him Storm. Bc of his explosive personality but also really calm and relaxing, also his eyes are heavenly and that blue can be the sky or the rain that comes from the storm

You can introduce a second cat but don't wait too long! The first cat may bully the new one for invading his space

the wet food does provide some liquid! if you give them dry food, pour some water into the food as well to hydrate them. It makes the food a bit mushy, but they still will usually eat it. Some cats do prefer moving liquid but it may scare a kitten.
