I got a new audiologist... here is how it went 

Hi Shreya I have followed you for at least 5 yrs now,we have had some really lovely conversations over the years,we do things a bit differently here in the UK as you know,we get free hearing aids & batteries! As expected you have lost a bit more of your hearing & now qualify to have a cochlear implant in one ear! Since the start of the year my hearing has got that bad my hearing chart said I am profoundly deaf,I use two powerful BTE hearing aids which are rechargeable! I am having to think about getting a CI,I am of the age where is it worth risking an operation! As usually you lose every bit of natural hearing once you have a CI & I am told they sound a bit robotic,but your young & if a CI helps you hear more then it may be worth it,but don't rush in to anything,speak to others your age that have now got a CI,I asked a hearing friend to listen to your old videos & new ones to compare your speech then & now,and it has got worse the deafer you have got! I have been told I sound like I have been deaf all my life! Plus I was told I have usher's syndrome type 3 which also affects my sight,and at night & poor light I have to use a long blind cane,so I am on the DeafBlind spectrum,I can't believe how you have blossomed in to a very beautiful young lady! I am sure you were around 15 when I first saw your video's & I think getting braces! So all the best for the future,it's been a pleasure following you all these years 💗💗💗💗

I watched your video how you didn't like the Oticon More1. I couldn't understand what you DID like...the Oticon Open?

i know some places use different equipment since i myself wear a hearing aid. did they use inserts for your test this time or headphones?
