I GOT A NEW SOFA | DECORATING FOR FALL 

Hi comadre, love the new open concept although maybe putting your dining table where your couches are and your couches where the dining table is then hang your tv where huge picture is then add a tv console right underneath.

That empty space will look good like a bar for ur coffee or a bar with all kinds of liquor just an idea ❤

Maybe move the dining table to where you kitchen area is and move your couches to the other side where you have your table now. On the empty space where the table was possibly make it into your entertainment center TV area 🤷‍♀️ algo a si 😅your house is so beautiful te quedo divino 💗

Ok hear me out comadre, in my very humble opinion since you asked what we think. I believe your dining area should be where your couches are right now, it’s a better fit. I love the couches but not for your beautiful home, they seem too small for your home. Maybe some bigger couches with a higher back would fill in the area nicer and placing them where your dinning table is now. I believe the curtains need to be trimmed so your sealing don’t look soo short. Now that open area where you have the large wall art you should put your tv hanging and with a beautiful large tv stand under it, where you could place décor or special picture frames. A larger rug for sure to put under the couches and maybe making it something more neutral so it does clash with the design of your floors. Any who, I’m soo happy to see you excited about your home. One day si Dios lo permite I will have my home too

I love the sofa but now since your living room is so big i feel it looks smaller 😂 no hate it's still beautiful and very kid friendly. Love where the dinning table is at now. Your home is beautiful 😍

I like your set up how it is the dining looks great where it’s at! Especially since you wont use your dining everyday since you have a large island that serves the same purpose. Unless you do close up the old dining space and make it into an office/playroom/laundry room it would solve that “awkward” space. And the tv could be hung onto that wall if you decide to use it as a living room. But again I like the arrangement how it is now ☺️

Comadre just my opinion i think the tv would look good where you have the gold frame and your sala where the the dining table is facing the tv that way you have a huge sala for holidays and christmas tree with all your family and dining table where the sala is but the only thing the chimney would throw it off. And the wooden table would look against the black wall under the frames in the entrance or behind the sectional of you end up putting it in the entrance

I like how everything turned out . If you are happy with how everything looks, that's all that matters. & remember you can rearrange things if you want to see it differently. Those couches are definitely kid friendly ❤

Personally I would use your old living room as a dining room and your old dining room as your living room, the couch is so big and looks like it would fit better in the bigger living room

Adding wood flooring would make a big difference in your living room space, will give a homier & cozier look. But of course if marble is a person's preference in their home, that's what matters.

Comadre try Dining table next to fireplace, and your Tv on the wall with the painting where the dining table was before, and couches where dining table is now but facing the painting aka the tv !!! Giant living room for when family comes over especially during Christmas time everyone can fit in it opening presents😍

I think you need a bigger rug for under the couches. And to assemble the couch so you can add the green chairs in for the living room. Then for the dining area Add a rug under the table , a new light fixture , and on the top empty area I would add a “buffet cabinet” that holds your china. and change the gold art piece to something with green and brown tones

Ok so I would say a bigger rig obviously and the table you took out from your room put it the the black accent wall to put decor and place in the middle or your windows put a big mirror 🪞 on the other side take that huge wall art out and maybe put aesthetic coffee station and move the ice machine there so you can have more space in the area the stove is to cook and prep. The living room is perfect since you have the fire place there so cozy during this upcoming fall and winter season my opinion ❤️

Comadre i love the open space 😍😍😍 I think you did a great choice by moving the dinning table there . Looks better 👍 The other place where you had the dining table could be the family room . I remodel homes , they usually have both one family room that could be use to chit chat , and the other a living room where you could chill and watch tv 😊

I personally think the family room should be where the dining table is and then have a seating area in the current living room. The table can be kept in the same place it was originally from. I just feel like it’s not giving the open space concept with the layout you have. Overall everything looks great!!

Look much better? One recommend I have for you is to make that attempt place into playroom, an office or laundry room by closing it. If you close that attempt space and make into office or playroom you add some panel clear glass sliding doors front of the dinning room

a baby grand piano would look great where you had the dining table because the floor is raised. I'm not sure if ya'll are musical. and i think if you flip the couch and dining table, the dining table with the fireplace would look more romantic and have an elevated ambiance if you add a modern chandelier/ceiling lamp. and change the fireplace tile, como que no va con the floor.

I disagree with just about everyone.Keep the couch where it is. That area is where you all spend the most time and the island is where you all eat the most. Therefore the most intimate & used area. The area where your dining table is, can be your formal dining room. Use the extra space for a liquor or coffee bar. You can also use it for holiday decorating like getting shorter art work adding a “buffet” console under to decorate seasonally & a Christmas tree in the corner when the time comes. Your set up is great. It’s just gonna take time to get use to and find things that now fit & go with the open concept area. It’s gonna take time. Don’t rush it, the good thing is your home is beautiful as is 🤗❤

I would rotate the couch and push it further away since you have the space now. Bigger rug for sure and I would maybe get a couple of neutral chairs against the black wall. I also do love allot of your things but maybe stick to a style that flows through out your home. Some pieces of decor and furniture just don't go with the rest. I would change the dinning table to something more organic to go with your counter chairs. 🫶 Just some advice ❤

My humble opinion, I think you definitely need a bigger rug & maybe even a bigger sectional. There is so much open space now, that the sofa & rug look almost miniature. & as for the table that you put by the window, I think it’s not long enough. Try to find a table that is the length of the window so it looks more cohesive. The dining table looks perfect. It fill the space up just enough but also not overbearing.

You need a bigger rug and a bigger sofa sectional!! The table looks nice there but that empty space looks weird. Maybe enclose it to make a pantry or another miscellaneous room?

You should definitely add an entry table comadre by the window where you initially put a table for decoration or by the accent wall also the curtains are to long IMO .. maybe put the sectional more back that way there’s a big space between the couches and chimney .. another option out the sectional where the dining table is facing the empty space where you initially had the dining table and in the empty wall you can put the tv and on top of the chimney you can install a mantel and out cute decoration!
