This was so hecking enjoyable. What a cool device. Your humour is the greatest. The wholesome relationship/character-arc between you and the robot, bravo, 4.5 stars.
Pretty amazing tool. If you could tweak it to center the viewer slightly lower, like a few degree to put you a good foot higher, it would be effing perfect.
Glad you actually tested this thing, I've been waiting for someone I follow to use one so I can see if I really want one ... and now I know that I do indeed want one 😅 I have to wonder how it'll do in the wind, and it'd be nice to have it film a little lower but I'm sure there are some things you can tweak with the app. Just gotta save a little extra money over the winter now ... thanks for spending my money ;P
I had the same thought, but it seems a little too loud to use in a busy park. Would probably be annoying for everyone else. I was thinking about getting this for myself just for filming solo flatground, but even then I think it would annoy anyone nearby, like a neighbor, or someone at the basketball court next to a tennis court. Cool little device though
You need to send this to Braille as a replacement for Gabe 😂😂😂 make Gabe skate again, he has no excuses now, either skate or lose your job to a robot 😂😂😂
Is it possible to make it fly lower? I guess this wasn't as much in mind for skateboarders where the focus is more on the board/feet, but it's amazing nonetheless. Definitely a lot of possibilities to get creative with it!
maybe it flies from the height you release it at, so just hold your palm lower when you let it go? i was wondering how you adjust the hover height as well.
There’s a setting on the app where you can sync the audio to record from your phone, so you’ll still hear the buzzing somewhat but the skating will be louder depending on where you record from
I wonder if you can change the config of this thing so you can add an offset to to the subject it's trying to follow. Because rn it finds your face more important to follow than your feet. And I agree your face is lovely, but would be gnarly if it would always keep ur feet in-frame.
