Very cool- I have 23’ 111 Chief bobber with stage 1 (round performance air intake) and it likes to go fast, has sweet grunt to it- congrats on the bike, love these machines-
I discover you yesterday. Today i saw all your videos and follow you in instagram. Your content are very cool because you transmit a lot of good vibes. Nice work!!
Thanks for the shout out! For the heat, have you thought about wrapping the exhaust with some exhaust wrap? We could probably rig you some nice looking heat shields as well. Happy to Help! 🙂
Bike sounds awesome! I had the Lloyds tune with 585 cams on my '18 chieftain and that was fun! I can't imagine what it would feel like on the chief..lol I would recommend it for sure!
@Her6gears i did the havok install and filter install myself. Getting my ecu flashed right now. Would you mind sharing how much your dealership charged for that service?
For the new air cleaner, how do you go about washing the bike or if you end up getting caught in the rain being that the filter is exposed completely? Do you have to let it dry out for a day or so?
I actually had a question .. after you flashed your ECU did your rear cylinder deactivation not work anymore ? Cus after I did mine they said it was normal just wanted to get a second opinion.. thanks again .. I just subscribed :)
It hasn’t been too hot the days I’ve rode it so I haven’t noticed but I’ll let you know whenever I ride it in hot hot weather. I tend to ride the scout more on hotter days since the exhaust doesn’t get extremely hot 😅
Hello, I’m looking for another bic, however moving to the Philippines need to purchase one over there. Had Honda, Triumph, Harley before. Was very happy to notice you live in Wisconsin. Your blogs are very helpful thanks
If you think stage 1 is noticeably different wait til you do the stage 2. Completely different bike. I’d recommend the performance clutch if you do. Then hang the hell on!
Also, I went with fab28 2 into 1 with the Indian performance intake. Had to go with the crappy EPA tune since polaris changed the ECM on the new chiefs. RVS tuning couldn't dyno it 😢
Nice! I got the Lloyd’s tune done and I must say, it was very disappointing. So beware. Do your homework on it 1st, before dropping the $ I’m gonna have to go back and either get it re-done or eliminate it completely if possible.
Can you give me more details on why it was disappointing for you? I’ve been thinking about getting the Lloyd’s tune on my Chief Bobber DH. I don’t ride in sport mode, as you probably know it’s super twitchy. I wanted the Lloyd’s tune in hopes it would smooth the throttle response in sport mode?
@@darealshaft9735Well 1st off the bikes been stalling out left n right, especially when 1st started. They claim you gain power, I gained nothing. They say throttle response will be smoother, that is true, however, it’s to the point where I “lost the power” They also said it would decrease the heat coming from the engine. I actually feel more heat coming from under the seat than before. So what did I get exactly from this tune? Not much. I’m disappointed at the moment. Will be going back to have it re-done, so we’ll see how it goes. November 14th is my appointment. I’ll keep you posted if anything’s changed or if I just get this totally reversed and go back to my stage 2 without tune
