In today's video I'm taking you back to Canadian Coldblood's where Brandon and I went through his a few of his available green tree monitor lizards (Varanus prasinus) to find me the perfect male! Following this, I show you my process of setting up my tree monitor enclosure as well as a small feeding attempt at the end of the video! Hope you enjoy and Happy Holidays/Merry Christmas to all!

@@lowk3yl0ki98 monitor lizards are clicker trainable. They are arguably some of the most intelligent reptiles on our planet! You should search for the documentary series “Lizard King” on RU-vid. I’m pretty sure someone uploaded the parts ☺️.

Green Tree monitors are right up there with emerald tree skinks for dream animals I would so want to have a green tree skink that be amazing

I love how you use real plants for your enclosures. And for the answer to your question, I don't have any reptiles so I don't know which brand is good or bad but I will have to do a ton of research once I decide to get a reptile.

they’re the coolest tree monitors ever! can’t wait to see what they produce! for the question of the day, i love the look of bioactive enclosures so i use an arcadia jungle dawn to help maintain the plant growth. most importantly when the plants grow it helps the animal live it’s best life in captivity and thrive.

I love these monitors, extremely intelligent. As for lighting goes, I love arcadia. I. Have all arcadia lighting in my 6x2x2 bearded dragon bioactive enclosure. I love how you can link the fixtures together for less cable management. I have my UVB linked to an Arcadia Jungle Dawn & this thing is so bright & I barely have to do any maintenance on my plants.

Arcadia for plant lighting and DHP. Zoo med and Exo Terra for uvb lighting. For my 2 chahouas ,my crested and my leopard geckos.
