This really happened, it took 660+ episodes. Very scary stuff and I am fortunate to be alive today! Episode 664 Follow me on instagram @Taco_Stacks Send me mail if you would like! Taco Stacks PO BOX 184 STOCKERTOWN, PA 18083-0184
Wow! No joke! Halfway through running my errands yesterday I stopped at a pizzeria. When I sat down to eat I was attacked by a bee. I was able to wave it off and survive. The next stop on my route was Stop and Shop where there were two young ladies, one of whom had a leg in a cast and was using crutches to walk around. She dropped one of the crutches which I quickly picked up for her. I always ask “does the other guy look worse?” To which she responded “I was trying to run away from a bee and winding up falling and breaking my leg!”
When I was a teen, I got into a wasp 🐝 swarm. Several flew in my t-shirt and stung me ,over 15 stings. Next time I got a bee sting, my lips were swollen, I was having trouble breathing and the sting site was swollen huge. Had to go to the ER and get an epinephrine injection and Benadryl. Just be aware, it doesn’t have to be first exposure to have an allergic reaction ! I’m so glad you’re okay! It wouldn’t hurt to stop at Dollar General and get a can of flying insect spray. 🐝🐝🐝🍯
Very rarely does the reaction happen on the first sting. It is usually on the next sting event. That is also what happened to me. I was stung about 3 months apart and that is when I had the bad reaction. Interestingly enough, the original first sting also inflamed again even though it happened about 2 months apart. Now I have to carry the epi pen just in case.
Taco, I am so thankful you are not allergic to bees. However, it would be good to carry Benedryl with you. One capsule would help. How many stings it takes to cause an allergic reaction is individual. Getting stung multiple times is dangerous, as well as painful, as you know. Better to be prepared than sorry. 🥺
Just don’t take oral Benadryl and use the topical Benadryl together! My Mother in Law (92 years old) walked over a yellow jacket nest in the front yard and they stung her 17 times! I gave her oral Benadryl and MY Grandson is an Army Medic told me not to do both as it could be too much. She’s ok but it itched for a solid week and she’s not allergic to them.
Taco, you should always keep in your van some Benadryl tablets and also a small bottle of distilled vinegar and cotton balls. The benadryl will help with allergic reactions and the distilled vinegar put on a cotton ball and applied to the stung area will really reduce the pain and the swelling. Please keep those items in your truck it could save your life. Getting stung 4 times could be serious.
I'm so sorry you were stung, and very thankful you aren't allergic to them. Wasps are bad very bad. I remember when you were stung last year working on your deck with your brother. Take care, see you tomorrow or next vifro!
Perhaps the homeowner didnt know there was a nest. They are inactive at night and so if you put your trash out after dark you would never know. GLAD you are ok Bud.
Thank goodness you are ok! I feel your pain. A few weeks ago I was mowing a lawn for a friend as a favor when I was attacked by wasps! Stung 5 times. My arm was swollen for a week! I hope you don't have any lingering effects. Stay Safe!
Oh No - so sorry you got stung! Even one sting is very painful. Get a can of Raid or Wasp Spray & keep it in the van, just in case. The wicker/rattan bench is beautiful! I would get some Gorilla glue & glue the top pieces coming loose, will look brand new! Stay safe & hope you feel better tomorrow! 😟
Oh my lord! I’m so sorry you got stung! And I’m thanking God you’re not allergic. Might not hurt to carry benedryl, and some wasp spray. Whoever left the nest there, shame on you!! Hope you are better soon. I’m praying for you! Blessings & protection to you & Salsa. ❤️✝️
That's the story of most of the stuff made today: Over-priced new...ends up as broken junk...the problem is it was junk when new!! Wow...your situation brings back memories I had with hornets...was helping clear a neighbor's yard a few years back and hit their nest...the little buggers nipped me at least 3 times...had no reactions, but a nasty happening! Hope you are well.
Yellow jackets and wasps were crazy in the Flathead Valley , Montana recently. People said they were the worst ever. Then we got home to our home in Washington where we have lived sonce 1979. We have three nests one in our dining room walls, one in our outside sprinkler control box, and one in a bush by the front door. Never had nests like this. Years ago our 3rd son was in the woods near our house and walked into a nest. He did go into analphyatic shock. It was amazing how fast that happened. Anyway, I think we have them under control. Those wasp traps are amazing!
When I lived in Baltimore Maryland growing up, my Dad was cutting grass he did not know there was a yellow jackets nest underground and they chased him to the back door, he said he could see them waiting for him on the other side of the back door outside. I am glad Taco Stacks is ok.
Taco, I am glad you came out of that wasp attack only with a view painfult spots. How dare those nasty stingers attack the kindest person on RU-vid! But be careful. You say you are not very allergic. Allergies devellop over time. Every time you get stung makes the probability of a real allergic reaction larger.
Actually not true. The more you get stung the greater tolerance you build. I was so allergic as a kid I had to carry epipen to school. I have been stung so many times riding Harleys and living on a farm that I eventually became immune.
Yikes!!! Glad you're not allergic. Well now you not only have to check grills for burgers but also other things wasp nests! My dog once whizzed on a ground hornet nest and getting swarmed by that was probably the most horrifying thing I've experienced. 😬 Wasps hurt like a mofo. I got stung multiple times but he only got hit once but the poor fella had it in the worst spot ever. 😳😬😫 We both lived, not allergic. Thankfully. Take care!
I'm glad you're okay that whatever bit you didn't not make you have an allergic reaction if it was lost I would have been in trouble but I'm thankful that you're safe and I like that wicker chair bench whatever you call it that's really cool looking.
Could they have been in the bbq? Or inside something else? Poor guy. I feel for you - that must have been so very painful. I hope you have recovered fully by now! Thanks for risking your life for our viewing pleasure!!! 💕 Please give Salsa a big FAT kiss and a HUG! THANKS!! 🥰
Taco Stacks hope you are feeling better. You need to carry some benadryl cream or capsules with you for emergencies. You could apply lemon juice or apple cider vinegar. They help neutralize & soothe the sting. Wow, you took one for the team of trash pickers & your viewers 👏. You are definitely a team player. Rest up for tomorrow. Be careful & stay safe.
Taco stacks! Taco stacks! Taco stacks!!! For the win of the day !!! Even braved the wasps !!! I hope you are feeling better!! Thanks for taking us along!!! I appreciate you so much!!!
Yellow Jackets ( wasps ) get extremely aggressive this time of year. Bee’s? Not so much. The wasps will land on the meat we’re bbq-ing. Savage. Kill wasps if you must but if you have a hive of bees? Call a professional. They will relocate them instead of killing them. We need our bees now more than ever. 🐝🙂❤️
Oh my goodness Taco. I sure hope that you're alright, my heart goes out to you. I hope that you feel better soon. I have enjoyed this video. Take care of yourself 💗 Taco.
I am allergic to wasps/bees and always carry my epi pens. I would recommend that you carry a bottle of liquid Benadryl in your truck in case this happens again. My allergic reactions started over a long period of time and eventually ended up with an ambulance ride. Don’t take chances.
We had a huge swarm of bees come by our house and then made hive in our outdoor bar. My husband is the only one of us that isn’t allergic to bee stings. We had to call a bee guy to come take the queen and move the hive. Put ice on your stings and if it swells take some Benedryl.
OMG Taco Stacks A VERY SCARY ATTACK FROM THOSE WASPS. THEY WERE😡😡😡😡. Hugs and kisses for Queen Salsa and Queen Gracie. GREAT VIDEO AND GREAT CONTENT. THUMBS-UP ALWAYS!!!!!
Hello Taco nice little haul. I went back and rewatch and looks like it happened went you picked up that sweeper because they started biting before you got to the van so they might have been in there I could be wrong if I am I’m sorry. I hope you’re doing ok 😊
I might possibly have died from an attack like that. I have an epi pen and even if I use it I still have to go to ER. I am glad you aren't allergic. I just heard to use mustard to stop the sting to quit hurting. The last sting I got looked just like the bug you pointed out. It was a very small stinging bug. But we were 15 miles from the hospital. I was pretty swelled up by the time I got to the hospital. Take care of yourself. Salsa needs you bud!
YIKES! I can do without that kind of occupational hazard. Recently took a trip to New Orleans, and had my first experience with fire ants. I did OK, but my younger brother swelled up like a cooked marshmallow. Take care, man.
Hope he's o.k. many people don't know how much harm they can do. I fell in a underground nest of them when I was 4...they covered my lower legs in minutes. Luckily, my Granny was hanging laundry when I ran up yelling & crying...she hosed them off of me. Still couldn't wear shoes or pants for weeks
@@just.j5302 He was fairly miserable for almost a week, but fine after that. Benadryl, hydrocortisone cream, and ice packs helped. Just glad they're not native to my area. Those things are vicious!
Glad you are doing ok take care always keep Benadryl in your van it helps with the swelling and could save your life if you was to get many stings I guess depending own what kind of bee or how many take care of yourself hope you have a blessed day 💜
I think the wasps may have had a nest in that carpet sweeper thing. Poor bugger, hope the welts don't bother you for too long. Haha, dummy me, should have watched you longer.
When you picked up that sweeper and got stung, I'm like put that thing back on the curb, not in your van. Possibly yellow jackets, those things are wicked.
I’m glad your not allergic to those nasty things! To relieve the pain and to get the stinger out all you have to do is find a small amount of wet sand and rub it on the sting. It takes the stinger out and relieves the pain. Hope your better soon. Your the best
My best guess is that they had a nest in that old sweeper you picked up. There's lots of good advice in the comments. Please consider them. Bless your Heart, Taco.
My cats would love that wicker couch, I could really fix that up for them. We're in the robot age that's why square, we were in space age that was round. 😸🤣😉
Taco, carry a bottle of meat tenderizer with you (if you don't want to carry spray chemicals that could blow back in your face, depending on wind) ..if this happens again, make a paste of that with water and apply. It contains enzymes that degrade the poison 👍💯.
Taco pick up the castles- even beat up ones - a lot of us turn them into Halloween castles - so it doesn't matter much what they look like - if they have turrets and drawbridge it's a plus! Sorry about those nasty. Bees! I got stung so many times once that now I am allergic and are supposed carry an eppy pen. Be careful okay?
i am so sorry that happened to you. that's terrifying to see bees come after you. i hope they are all out of your van. i can't believe how calm you were. if that was me i would of been screaming running down the road.
Hi. this is the first time I watched one of your videos and OMG, I feel so sorry for you after that bizarre and painful attack. I swear to you, if it had been me I would still be screaming. You dealt with it very calmly considering you were stung at least four times. Hope you are feeling better now. Apart from that I really enjoyed the rest of your video and have liked and subscribed. Good luck to you from Ireland. ☘☘☘
So sorry that happened to you. Feel better soon. And I really thought you were attacked by an angry homeowner. I’m glad that didn’t happen. Also, it’s pronounced raTAN. Accent on the second syllable.
