No, thats not how it works. If you get put into overwatch, the person vieweing the overwatch has no information as to what the user was reported for, and they are required to make their own judgement solely by what they see in the 8 round period that they view.

***** VAC detects edited scripts or files that should not be in your game folder. So yes, it essentially would pick up on edited CFGs.

Two things: 1. VAC picks up application signatures and bans on basis of that; they've a database of known cheats and if you're running those cheats against the game while on a VAC secured server, you get VAC banned. Edited configs do jackshit to get you VAC banned and anyone saying that is bullshitting out of their mouths and shouldn't be trusted. 2. 2400 days ago is 7 ish years ago, so 2009ish, which coincides with MW2. MW2 had a ton of bad VAC bans, and I'm pretty confident that the VAC on anomaly's account is dated from back then.
