Because all the messages from red names are easy to be tracked as soon as possible while it's impossible to track bots spamming disguised hyperlinks and promotions between the thousands of messages sent every minute

I would assume it’s a mod that animates it clientside. There are mods that can animate skins serverside by automatically enabling and disabling skin layers (manually done in settings in vanilla) but I believe that can get you banned.
I don't understand how hypixel chat system works like I'll be in a lobby and the chat is filled with scams and rats yet they don't get muted nor banned but the moment anyone with a special rank says a funny its a big no no
Most of the rats do get muted eventually (if you trust the messages I get after reporting them), it can just take a couple hours and there's enough accounts that they don't run out of them.
if you have youtube rank, it can only be an admin ban (banned by admin), because watchdog doesn’t flag yt rank, just putting this out here for people dont know
i swear hypixel needs to get a better chat system for an example they should have a setting where you can change the age limit for chat like they could give ages 10 to 13 and 13 to 16 etc
my brother got banned a year back because he was too lazy to get off his hacked client after trolling some of his friends. I think he's lucky that it was just 30 days tbh
U gotta note when u join mc server for 1st time it says that u may get exposed to inappropriate messages most of us skip it but it's an important detail I think is important
You are not the only player with a youtube rank who has been banned from hypixel. Russian youtuber TheFlackJK banned from hypixel a long time ago. At the time, it had more than 500k subscribers
you should have known that kids play hypixel skyblock becasue there are no jumpscares or swears in it to saying something like that yk would be cringe and unappriotiate (or something)
Similar story: One of my friends told me to nick as his IP address so he could get a cake soul of his own IP address and then he put it on the auction house to see how many times he would get hit off, thankfully nobody was harmed by this

back in 2019 i was banned for security issues and got instantly unbanned the next day after writing to them when Hypixel didn't have such big playercount like today
@@yodaas7902 That's completely false, I've been false banned for aoteing around the hub. That appeal was insta denied by the bot. However a few days later I was unbanned. They instadeny pretty much everything and then sometimes if you're lucky go back over it

As far as i’ve seen it they take “trying to collect personal information” very seriously as there are a lot of young people who might not know how bad of a thing it is. 1 year ban for first offense sucks for you, but I believe it was quite fair. Even though i’m sure you meant it as a joke and not as a bad act. I believe some youtuber got banned for asking something about personal information in allchat, not sure though and don’t remember who it would be.

i got a 30d mute for advertising my frozen blaze amour, (only said it once in each lobby, didn't spam) so I think staff are really stressed these days and are criticizing everything we do.
Even going lobby to lobby advertising can get you muted for spam. This is to prevent bots going around spamming all day, however 30 days for that (assuming it is your first offense) seems a bit too harsh.
i got banned before because i was using auto clicker for cookie clicker then i accidentally forgot to close the autoclicker and logged on the hypixel with like 100 cps
3:33 Note: You can get banned for questionable messages even if you don't have yt rank. I have a friend who threatened people in a... strange way and was banned(and still is) for a month
