The devs have just announced that they'd fixed the bot farming hack so it no longer works. I'm sure there are still ways to get bots in DPD but the "retreat 9 times to get a bot" method no longer works!
I'm pretty sure that you might be able to lose max stakes in a lower table (against a player) and then go into the max table available and it will be a bot. At least this is an issue for me trying to donate bubs. FYI - I have not tried this extensively so please use with caution.
I really appreciate that you didn't buy any bubs. So many content creators were talking about the best ways to grind the event while also dropping thousands of gold at the same time. You're a real one.
Since im done yesterday, i do it 1-2 times a day giving away mine aswell. I only ask you to say the hello back so its better chance to give a human instead of a bot :) Myself got no donations. And first 500mill looked impossible, but with the bub mart upgrades you can do it without a sweat ofc with a good deck. (i climbed trought dinner with Arishem.
@@atesz567 I'm missing like 11M to get to Cassandra. And I don't have Arishem. I've been playing mainly a deck about Patriot, Mystique, Kazar, Blue Marvel and Ultron. Is there a deck you could suggest so I can climb the ladder and get Cassandra? Thanks, man.
@@user-eg8wx3wq8q actually i would say patriot with ultron, just as you mentioned, thats my other fav. I also have a similiar, but without kazar, and with iron man and ravonna. Worth a try in DD. And if i can suggest never play on your highest stake table.

I found the best way is always playing a dish or two behind, you wont gain too much at a time, but you wont lose much either and it keeps you playing without buying more...
It really is a matter of persistance, or rolling the dice. This is a great way to get there, and with a week to go, should be doable. I'm just at the "maximum effort all in" trying to get the last bubs for variant :D
Great tips and kudos for not spending. I finished my climb Saturday exclusively with Hela the beginning tiers sucks but I did my climbing and bets below my max usually 1-2 spots like you said until I hit 400k on Bubs. Sometimes I farmed the lower ranks to rack up some bubs to be able to play after I lose the max tier bet but overall it's just a grind. My CL is 8800 and now I'm donating bubs, but I'm getting more bots than ever!
If anyone is reading this... I got my 500mil and losing intentionally to give other people a chance to get free bubs. I saw someone do it so now I'm doing the same. Just say HELLO in the beginning so I know it's not a bot. What they did is the said HELLO, SNAP? and I'M LOSING... and didn't play any cards at all.
Overall I’ve been enjoying it aside from the constant arishem, but the day 1 fix felt too soon for them to not have it planned. Also meant they intended people to get locked out for fomo and buy their way back in, especially content creators. I also like Ajax and I run a more clog based version. Typhoid is really nice and can give you -1 rocks to send over with Annihilus so you don’t have to Hazmat early. She can also be saved from Shang by a turn 6 hazmat which is gorgeous to see
As a low level player who doesn't have all the relevant cards yet, I AM CRYING WITH THIS GAME MODE. I just don't know how to win! I guess i'll just wait until this mode comes back around with a little bit more refined version of it! I am so sad! ....:(
Don't give up! I struggled alot also. And after alot of losses and tears I won some and found a few players that already completed the track, donated bubs to me. Now I repay the favor by going all in and loose on purpose help the rest of you guys 😊 and I am sure I am not the only one doing it 💪🏽
Right now there's a lot of people that have completed the diner that are going back and throwing matches on purpose to give free bubs, which might help a lot! Look out for people who emote "Hello! I'm Losing!"

Don't give up. I am still trying to unlock the second half of series 3 cards. You can win, and with some additional help, you'll be getting donations when more people finish up. I completed it and joined the others on Reddit by using the Cass Nova avatar. Loves dubstep title. Start the match with hello, and I'm losing. I proceed to throw the match with no cards played. Plenty of us are doing it based on the recommended donation guide. Hope I'll see you at the 400k and hand you some wins!
The mode was fine for me until the 600k to 15M part, it was a slog to farm and I don't have the time nor the will to grind, I barely play for more than half hour, so I used the bot exploit in the past weekend, it worked perfectly. Got Cassandra today grinding the missing 1M, and I have 0 desire to grind for the 30M. There should be a checkpoint in 3~4M bubs imo.
Just got Cassandra without spending gold too. Used a Phoenix Force with Nimrod deck for some big final turn plays. Once you've unlocked the refill upgrades it gets much easier.
Tips for donators to pay it back per Reddit: use the Cass Nova avatar. Title yourself with loves dubstep. Say hello and I'm losing once you've started the match. Do not throw any cards down until the very last round if you just want to show off one low powered card. Snap after round 5 because any snaps in the beginning will deter your donatee away. Once you donate the max bubs from that meal, you'll be given a bot opponent on that same dish. Beat the bot to face a real opponent again. Cheers!
I got it f2p too, the only real bad grind part is between 600k and 30mil , since you only regen to 600k bubs, making u basically play only 81k and MAYBE 400k dish ALL THE WAY to 30mil bubs. After 30 mil is fine since u regen to 30mil and u can play high stakes rounds easly.
I made it to the top of the Reward Track yesterday and got Cassandra and her variant without spending any gold. I was using the Copycat deck you posted the other day with Hope Summers in place of Silk, who I don’t have yet. Maybe I just got lucky with my matches? I didn’t mind this mode too much. I like that you don’t go down the board when you lose and found that bugs regenerated fast enough to not hold me back too much. Like you, I played before going to bed until I lost and they’d regenerated by the morning. Interesting to hear about the Retreat thing. I did face a few people that Retreated immediately and was wondering what was going on!
If we ever have tournaments in the future I’d imagine they’ll look like this but no bots and filled with only the best meta decks, a foreshadow to the future of Snap.
Too bad ill never get there... Everyone talking about gifting bubs and i get ms .marveled and aloithed. Smh.. this gamemode made me realize how much of a chore it is now. It not fun its exhausting..
It's pretty cool you didn't buy gold to get Cass. It was super sweaty for me to get her. I was planning to use gold when i was at 13M and if i lose all the bubs. Fortunately i was able to grind the last 2M and it felt good doing so. The variant was so much easier to do with the new card. I want to add i voted for you in conquerors tourney.
When i started playing DD it seemed almost impossible to reach 500mill. My first trought was cashgrab ofc, but with the bub mart upgrades all can be done without spending gold. Took me about 4 days (daily3-4hours) Now i am donating if anyone meet "Snapoleon" in dinner, im gonna loose just so you know. Happens only 1-2 times a day :)
i got the variant two days ago, now i just play the dinner to donate bubs, im an arishem enjoyer yet i want everyone to get cassandra, that way people will stop complaining about it and they wont have to nerf arishem, everyoen wins. do not despair people, you can do it and get cassandra, you dont have to be good like nina to get there (tho that would help alot)
Besides being very lucky on my final matches until 15million bubs, it was kinda easy for me getting cassandra playing darkhawk with grandmaster. I won some juicy max snaps games with these massive combos: *shang-chi into grandmaster (against another darkhawk decks or blob aswell) *mystique into grandmaster (against arishem) (play mystique on left or right, next turn play darkhawk and final turn grandmaster on mystique WILL copy DARKHAWK effect), +4 energy for a shang or rockslide
I got the base card without much farming or gold purchases and might be done with the event for now I used an ongoing TLT deck friday farming some bots got to 7M but todays fix made me have to actually play and honestly its not a bad deck for the event you can tell by turn 4 if you are winning or not, leech does almost nothing to the deck, doc ock can screw you or benefit you immensily, almost no one is running enchantress and rogue seems it fell off as well. got my missing 8M tokens for base card and might try it again for the variant but really im burned out of this mode
ngl the event is so grindy and i had so bad matchups. been stuck on 200k for four days, it is completely frustrating and i am close to just deleting my whole account because it pisses me off so damn much. i am done with the event and probably with the game soon. the event tought me its just a big waste of time
The problem is not the event or the game. It's you. If other people are having an easy time progressing the rewards track, then maybe learn from them or figure out what they're doing right instead of complaining about how you're stuck. For example, maybe don't bet all of your Bubs in one game. Maybe learn how to retreat wisely and don't stay in games that you're unlikely to win.
I can't get the variant. Since I got Cassandra they started to put me against their dark system bot, i lose everytime cus they started to generate card from unreliable source such as negasonic, and red hulk. I know they play arishem but that cards text said that they were generated from negasonic which is doesn't make sense at all. This game is rigged but i can't stop playing it 😢
People complain about Ari, but now all I see is Darkhawk and its super annoying, plus they already have Cassandra -.- I'm so frustrated right now, almosta at 10M bubs, hopefully tomorrow I get her
people were literally in tears over not being able to get the card day one for free. not defending second dinner here, but this event was supposed to be longer than 1 day. you can pay to skip if you want, or use exploits if you want, or both! you had options.
I wish I could have someone who's good at this game play DPD for me. I just play the game for fun but this mode has sucked out the fun and put a time stamp on how long until i dont earn the card.

Congrats on not buying bubs I took the same route and it took 3 days to hit 500 million for me. I currently play lower levels to donate my bubs to those still climbing.
I'm F2P and not great at the game so I took advantage of the bot method and spent the 2000 gold I saved up to just barely get the card. I enjoyed the mode a lot I've played it a lot more than ladder but losing really really sucks in this
Same i already hit 500M without spending Gold. It was supricely easy. And i didnt get many bot fights. Is there any Point of playing after hitting 500m?
@@CheyziEdits you could try the sandman deck at the end. Just substitute Makkari and Cassandra with other cards, eg Lizard, Red Guardian, White Widow, Negasonic, Polaris, Mobius or another 3 drop of your choice.
That's the fallacy. You don't need all of the cards to stay competitive. MegaMogwai quit Snap for a year and was able to compete in the top 1000 global Infinite leaderboard for multiple seasons when he came back. TLSG had like a six-month hiatus and just like Mogwai, he's a fixture in the global top 1000 now that he's back. You're just making excuses for being a bad player. You're just a whiny wannabe.
@ydgmdlu such a bad take. in a stream, TLSG claim he spends hundred after coming back which allows him to get all the new cards. this game (and any F2P games for that matter) gives advantages to paying players, which is fine, but invalidating F2P players is wrong. Most f2p struggle by not having all the meta cards
@@ydgmdlu the sad part is I’m not even technically F2P, I’ve had all the season passes and made infinite each season while completing all my quests. It’s less a skill issue and more a luck one since it takes me 3-4 keys to get the new cards. Gameplay is great and they balance it often, card acquisition makes new players stop playing and scare veterans from coming back
