As mentioned by others, the towers are the transmit and receive structures of the Soviet Era "Duga", "Over the Horizon" anti- Intercontinental Ballistic Missile early warning system. It's orientation is over the arctic towards the United States as during the Cold War the USSR was most worried that the US would strike first with ICBMs. It was Nicknamed the "Woodpecker" by NATO due to a unique "peck-peck-peck" or "tap-tap-tap" sound when heard over shortwave radios. It is also featured in the fantastic S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series (highly recommended if you haven't played) and ingame lore (S.T.A.L.K.E.R.) has it being the cause of creating zombies. On a side note, if you are unaware, you can lean around corners using [Q] & [E]. Great vids enjoying your journey through S.C.U.M.
okay i gotta say a massive thanks for all of that. I absolutely love the small details and lore of things in games, and this one is very interesting for sure. I had no idea about any of this!
The entire sector, just about, is Irradiated. The town, the plant, the water, and the forests around the area. Wear your hazmat suit to drive, and leave as much stuff behind at base as possible. Your car and everything in it will get radioactive dust on it. You have to manually "wash" (soap and water) each item from your inventory and car. Including your clothes.
i love how to beepers randomly say "get it off get it off" or " help me get it off". its like there somewhat aware of whats happening unlike the other puppets.
Love to see that you read comments. ❤ Btw. Compound bow can pull 110 if you're strong. Have you bean thinking 🤔 to craft EXPLOSIVE arrows? Get some accessories to your compound bow, like double silencer, stabilizer, and many more.

It is a Military Radio Station, you could see at the entrance of the building. There are always 2 meds lockers in the bunkers. You open one, but I guess you miss the other one. The PT-29, aka Phoenix Tears, brings you back to life, meaning if you have like 2 C4 and 10 or 20% health, the Pt-29 you can heal everything in one go back to 100%. It is D4 top left corner that has the underground bunker (not D0, I think you got confused). Last but not least, the advance locker only gives you more "tentatives." Doesn't give you time, but it takes longer to brake. Keep the good work. Enjoying the journey. Keep posting.
@Torak, loving the series bro. 2:19 the Red are your Constitution and Dexterity, Constitution drops if you're not walking much, if you want to increase it walk/hike as much as possible or use a Mountain Bike to travel. Dexterity is affected by your food consumption if you go above 80-90% it'll have a negative affect and even more so over 100% so don't over eat. To increase Dex keep your food between 60-80% and it'll jump up. Hope this helps and keep it up 😊
Commenting on an older video I hope you see this. Your series on this game has reignited my love for this game. I just got some of my friends to play and we have our own server. I absolutely love this series and I really really hope you continue. I believe you have 21-22 videos rn and obviously I’m on this video so far but I watch and episode every day. I love going through the journey with you and watching you grow and learn as it goes on. I really hope this reaches a minimum of 50 videos in the series. Idc if each video is an hour and and half or 2 hours I watch every minute of every video and enjoy every second regardless of what’s going on. Please keep it up!

The green medical crates in the bunkers that have about a 25% chance to have phoenix tears with 3 uses, phoenix tears instantly heal you and put ALL injuries and illnesses in recovery state, the only reason I say you should consider getting them is because I’ve had playthroughs ended from a C4 puppet spawning right behind me. Also you found the second type of the hazmat suit locker, they have worse loot but are still worth opening because they have the super easy locks.

The note at 1:40:57 says Seven lit candles around a puppets head will without question, resurrect the dead. You will also need the bones forget how many. Place them on the devils graph at midnight and a puppets suit will be made. Wearing this around the puppets will protect you. And they will not harm you or attack you. How do I know this. I watched someone else do it. And it was awesome. He actually went to the city and was surrounded by a swarm of puppets.

I'm still exploring slowly. Just made it to the central ish safe zone. Tried going in a base that had mechs and didn't get much past a first hangar with not a lot in it. All the videos I've seen I don't think I saw a zombie open a door so that was a shocker for me. Bloody hangar door opened and I got mobbed by half a dozen normies and one exploding one that very nearly killed me. Had me down to 8% before I finished bandaging.
Let me say something about vehicles, there are places on the map where vehicles are created and the vast majority are without engines and wheels, if we install wheels, we can push the whole vehicle to the dealer, remove the car and sell him such a vehicle, but know that it will take a lot of time , to see that our vehicle has an engine, we don't have to open the hood if two columns (fuel and battery) or only one means it has an engine. When we put one together, everything becomes easier because we are more mobile. There is a small catch ... when we find a vehicle without an engine, we can push it away from that position or simply destroy it and another one will be created in that same place, so I don't know exactly which one, but maybe the other one will have an engine in it. The first vehicle was WW then our Laika and Rager and it has the highest payload we can put in it. Sector B4 from the merchant to the east on the road is a small village (Punat) where I almost always find a vehicle that I can easily push away because there is a merchant to the west and everything is downhill. Mostly in B4 and C3 I found the most vehicles, maybe it won't be the same situation for you. Here's a little help, you might be able to arrange Ragera, sector C3 village Marof 2 possible vehicles, Dol 1 vehicle up in the grass, village Zagorje 2 vehicles and a lot of garages and also found 2 portable fridges, nearby you have a training camp and some kind of military complex with an antenna you can't miss by the lake. In the vast majority, almost every place has something. Personally, I circulate more in the west and south. Basically, there are vehicles and things everywhere, it all depends on how lucky we are. You can shoot from the car without going out, but only with a gun. The most used weapons are HS SF19, UMP-45, Compound Bow, AKM with Vampyr Scope, Carbon Hunter, SVD, M82A1 and Katana. As for hunting, I hunt when I'm lucky enough to spot an animal or find tracks and follow them (chicken, rabbit, goat, wolves). Good luck in your search...
just casually gets 2 of the best shotgun in the game (as per me atleast) GG. try using it in the powerplant radio active areas idk if the zombies there if attack you give u lot of rads i am not shure but shotguns is a 1 hit kill in most cases so i just use it to be safe
Loving the series Torak! Hunting started out like that with following clues etc but it has evolved since. There is the hunt mini game like you know, listen for the sound of an animal and follow clues but there is also the chance to come across live spawns. I have seen chickens, goats and boar on the multiplayer server I am on, you hear the sound and the animal is already spawned. You can edit the hunt settings in your single player server, set it all to the max Torak so hopefully you get the experience you crave. But I agree with the comments, the hunting is kinda gone backwards in the quest for better optimization. I would settle for a smaller map if the puppet and hunting system went back to what it once was. The radar station does have a small amount of lockers in an open room on the roof. The outside has a set way up to the top of the radar splines and can spawn in some good weapons I have seen
Use 3rd person view to look at Mechs. You are spotted every time and then you get in more trouble using 1st person. Break down the car battery like you found to get lead to make ammo
man the wall is full of dead bodys i havnt been there yet but good find i will go there and the rager you found is next to inposible to get out i have tried multiple times
I was considering getting into this game, but the AI looks so scuffed. Randomly disappearing, then respawning in interior areas already cleared. And getting stuck on stairs and walls. Just so immersion breaking. Maybe when this is fixed I'll jump in.
57:40 Those have a chance to spawn Pheinox Tears which can heal anything pretty much instantly but it's a very low chance and you need to pick a gold enforced lock
just to let you know you can put "skins" on your rifles/pistols. all you need is stray paint and you can spray paint your guns. you sould be able to make some amazing designs
You should try the SF19 hamdgun. It has a 19 rounds capacity mag. Less need to reload than the block 21. I’m partial to it because i own one irl, as well as a VHS 2 :-) Best rifle for left handed shooters like me ;-)
also i am kinda surprised u didnt go to try to get a airplane for ur travelling even tho its risky but worth the content (u will most likely die since planes just blow up with the smallest crashes)
It actually is the Duga, a soviet cold war era radar for locating missiles, the real thing is located in Chernobyl and looks exactly like this structre here in game.
for some reason they had to add some demonic shit in the game and i was hoping you wouldnt find the graveyard. it was added into the game when they first started developing the game.
@@TorakOfficial YOU Have to hide in a bush and be prone with a large cal rifle and about 30 rounds of ammo. the newer mechs with the cockpit looking nose, shoot it in the point of the nose where it looks like a gyro takes about 20 direct hits to kill if, the older ones you shoot in the crotch hub area also takes about 20 shots. Just remember to stay hidden in a bush
Just to irritate you a bit, I found a fridge in the garage where you had your base in the south. I'm not even close to as far in the game as you are but with all the trouble you had finding a fridge I had to drag that sucker back to base.
Is this game fix yet or is still a boring looter shooter game with no purpose in this life but run, loot, eat, shit, kill brainless clunky puppets with a broken hoard system ?
