The fact that you are the most kind, adorable and loving person I have ever known and yet you still had the same thoughts that I’m having to this day really gives me hope for the future. Thank you Monica. I hope your wedding is as much of a fairytale as Sam is your Prince ❤️
I feel that girl. Spent all of high school watching my friends get so’s after so’s and just stood around with my lonely self crushing on whatever guy. Went to college and met a man my first week. Been together 5 years and now engaged! It’s a wonderful feeling and I’m so happy for you!
Started dating my wife 2 months before I turned 19 (first gf). Here we are 16 years (married 12) and 2 kids later. I'm not sure it it's a good thing or a boring thing to not have any crazy ex stories...
Actually a good thing because some people never find their person. That one special person that is their equal in energy that some call their soulmates. I was once engaged to my girlfriend in highschool. We were together for two and half years. Didn't last. I'm now 44 and in a long distance relationship. She matches my energy and personality. We can't wait to be to be together and see each other. We talk every day by way of an app e few times every day. She is literally my special someone as we always know what the other will say from one moment to the next. So if you have been with each other since high school then congrats! Because not everybody is as lucky. Congratulations to you! Hopefully you have many more years together 💜💜
@@jishnubhattacharyya37 We’re great! We have our three year anniversary coming up in a couple of months. We’re incredibly happy, have a trip to Busch Gardens planned, and are planning on moving in together 😊 Thank you for asking!
@@KathrynB621 That's wonderful!! :) All the best to you two! I can't personally relate to ur story but I do have a sister who's just about ur age, with a pretty damn similar love life history 😂 she's doing well now as well! So actually what happened is ur comment reminded me of her so I thought to see how you guys were now! So glad to hear all's well :) Enjoy life 😊
@@jishnubhattacharyya37 Thank you so much! His name is Justin, and I love him. Your comments made me happy ☺️ How’s your sister doing now? You mentioned she’s doing really well. How about you?
@@KathrynB621 My sister is quite alright now, she's 28...been in a relationship the past 4 yrs with a wonderful guy (i approve 🤣😂) and they are likely to be engaged by the end of this year! 😊 As for me, I'm 21, and i must say im hella lucky compared to you & my sis 😂🤣 I got into my first relationship at 16 and I'm still with her only! (She's 20 now). We both compliment each other very well & life has been smooth thus far 😊 Say Hi to Justin from me :) Have a great day!
My wife was 17 and I was 18 (6 months between us) in grade 12 she never had a bf or even a kiss, we are now 36 expecting our 4th child in September and our oldest is 6. We got engaged in our 9th year married in our 12th year when our first born was 1. I love my wife and children and they make me so happy that I continue to work myself to death to provide everything I can. It can happen you just need to stop expecting it to happen, it's like life wants to give you 1 nice surprise when you least expect it
These comments are sweet. I'm 32, and I haven't found anyone. I find myself wanting to give up and I feel I should prepare to be alone for the rest of my life. 😅 I'm happy for everyone here.
I’m 18 and this is by no means my first boyfriend I’m with but he’s my first REAL boyfriend. While I can’t say for certain what’ll happen in the future so far we’ve been a perfect match for one another. I really hope we stay together.
@@riptomydeadhomies Thanks for the reply, and I hear you. On the contrary, I'm actually very likeable and an extrovert. Thankfully, I've never experienced social anxiety. I've in fact, been in a really wonderful long term relationship with arguably the best girl in the world :P We unfortunately had to split cuz of circumstances that I don't want to get into here. We're still very close. It's my standards man. Automatically, I compare women with my ex and I've definitely kept her too high on a pedestal!
I hope this happens to me, the girl i like and am promised to be dating her soon, i had met when i was 10 and she was 11 turning 12 that year, we met at summer camp and only saw eachother at camp the next year, her mom didnt know till she found our texts and our parent met up (keep in mind i bugged this girl every dang day to tell her mom about me) they moved closer to us and now since we are homeschooled and go to the same church we see each other atleast 3 times a week maybe more, if anything goes wrong in the relationship i will personally see that it gets mended Because i find our connection too strong and i like her too much to leave her (also she knows to much and if she leaves me she must die... Jk)
I'm quite young and have a boyfriend (not saying age for personal reasons) an he already said that he would propose at 24 yrs without any exes so so true
@InThisTogether that would involve more risk then reward.. I lack basic social skills due to always being the outcast loner. I've never really had friends.. I've got one, but that's it
@InThisTogether oregon, and girls around here can't see me. been invisible my entire life, coming from a broken place I understand now that I'm older.. so I continue to roam the land of forgotten and broken tools
Those things are correlated you know. I hope it works out and wish you decades of happiness, but the fact you haven't had a boyfriend until you were 18 IS the reason you were willing to get engaged to the first boyfriend
It doesn't make sense at all what you just said.they are a good match and that's it simple as that , you don't need a number of boyfriends to figure things out.better wait for the one.
