@@BigDawgCAM nice! I didn’t honestly. I’ve heard good things about them, but I was already in the market for a new LA Golf shaft and Brandon (the fitter) is a big fan of LA Golf shafts. To each their own though!
This is very interesting. So I saw somehwere you said you used to hit your pw 145 and now with this 155-160. I’m curious what do you play then now for that 135-155 distance? Feels like since they so long they might be creating a huge gap between pw and your 50 degree for example. I can get my 7-8 iron swing speed up to 110mph so the graphite shafts has me itching
It’s a massive gap for me at the moment tbh. I don’t have a club that’s 135-155 right now lol. I’m not sure if I had their wedges it might fix the problem. Certainly something I’d be interested in looking into. Everyone is different though. Though I’d expect everyone to gain a little bit of distance with these faces.
Question: Do these club heads come with strong lofts as their stock offering? In other words, did Bryson strengthen the lofts on his clubs, or is he hitting the sock lofts (for this brand)?
Good question. I don’t know Bryson’s lofts for his irons. But yes, these irons have strong lofts. They have them on their website for you to take a look at!
I’d say a blade look for sure. But more forgiving that blades no doubt. Coming from T100s myself, they are more forgiving than those. Can’t really speak too much on forgiveness of the T200s, having only a 4 iron and I struggle to hit it well in general lol
@@xforedadsgolf awesome thanks man! I played single length clubs in the past and I was a lot more consistent so I’ve been looking to go back. I also struggle with my 4.. you’re not alone lol
@@keasy395 comes down to personal preference. Brandon (who fitted me) plays same length and loves them. I’d say if you were newer to golf, I could see them being easier to hit because you really need only one swing.
Good question! I have some raw numbers right now. PW - used to hit it around 145ish (46°), with Avoda, I’m around 155-160ish. That should give you some idea. But I haven’t really FULLY tested them out with a flightscope due to time!
@@xforedadsgolfappreciate the response and the video! Think I’ll be pulling the trigger on these. Subscribed to your channel and look forward to watching future videos. Thanks again!
@@ryandolence8548 appreciate it! I got a video coming out the 4th of July with Brandon (the fitter in the video) and I ask him a bunch of questions about Avoda! Feel free to reach out to Brandon with any questions as well at brandon@avodagolf.com. Just let him know I sent you!
@@ryandolence8548 I bught the black-same lenght clubs with fujikura 105X shafts as well as the Jumbo Max ultra light grips. Took a ew games to get use to the longer wedges. For me the clubs were game changing; dropped my handicap by 3.5. The club heads are smaller than most game improvement irons......but very forgiving. My iron play is way more acurate. Took a while to reeive my order; but worth the wait.
No harshness imo. I think his flex is one step up from what I went with (X-Stiff). I was also able to hit his 3D printed irons (see one of my previous videos), they are sickkkkkk!!!
@@inkz3281 I certainly do. I’ve only heard good things about them and have enjoyed them myself. The head fitter Brandon (in the video) has told me fitting stories of people with high handicaps and not being able to hit anything straight until they got their hands on these. Though, everyone is different, I’d recommend reaching out to them directly for more expertise!
I recommend reaching out to Avoda golf. Either on the website or through Instagram to work something out. You might just need to figure out what shaft works for you best and go from there!
