I got myself a lightweight level 1 armored Alpinestars jacket for my motorized bike and I would highly recommend. I locked up the front and went down on my '93 Ninja 500 at about 30 mph a couple months ago and I just had a bruised knee for a few days and a couple repairs on the bike. Sliding across the pavement is not a good feeling. Wear your gear folks!

That sucks. Looks like you did everything you were suppose to though at those speeds, took a lane, had a helmet on etc. I want to find a front/back dash cam device for a bike that doesnt have a huge display on it but there really isnt one.
Glad you got away with minimal damages. Had one incident where I didn't get hit by the SUV but hit a patch of gravel avoiding the cage rider and and went down. Make matters even worse was they didn't even bother to check to see if i was alright even though they were the reason why I went down in the first place. Thankfully I landed in some grass and the only damages to the bike was me kicking off the carb, headlight snapping off and having to straighten out the handlebars
Glad you are ok. You got really lucky. I am a big advocate for helmets. Especially on motorcycles. I wrecked my motorcycle when a car stopped suddenly right in front of me. My helmet saved my life. I still have the helmet and you can see where it hit the pavement. That would have been my skull. So any time I see someone without a helmet I always call them morons. A lot of times accidents on motorcycles and bikes are not even the riders fault but the other vehicle that hits them. So even if you think you are the best driver in the world you will still be a moron if you do not wear helmets and other safety gear. I have a friend that t-bonded a semi trailer on his motorcycle where the semi ran the red light as he was going through the intersection. He was wearing his helmet and still got brain damage from it. He was in a coma for a long time but he came out of it and now lives a decent life yet he struggles with a lot of things even just speaking, do to the brain damage he suffered. So it really gets to me when I see people not wearing helmets. So yeah wear your helmet for sure.
Thank God your alright. That's weird because I was hit by a car on March 22nd while riding my motorized bike. My injuries were bad. I got 40k settlement from the accident, so all ended well. Anyways love your channel and keep it going
wow!! just by looking at your bike you can definitely tell it was a really bad accident fortunately you're ok, I'm planing in buying a helmet I also have an e bike that goes 30mph, just by looking at your video you have made me realize the importance of wearing a helmet.
Man glad your ok and wearing a helmet. I had a car pull infront of me while I was riding my 212cc motorized bike I was only going 25mph. Had to get metal plate on my thumb area. Stay safe enjoy the ride bike life
Glad you are okay. Here in north Louisiana, when I would ride my bike in Oak Grove, youngsters would run stop signs just to hit me, lol. So I moved to the country hahahaha
Glad you wasn't hurt but a few things need to be corrected. 1) The woman called you a pedestrian. You are actually a vehicle operator. 2) Pedestrians always have the Right of Way. Actually pedestrians are also expected to obey traffic laws and can be at fault. 3) Loud Pipe Saves Lives; only some times. If the windows are up and a stereo is on a closed compartment vehicle may still not hear you. A very loud horn is better. On my motorized bicycle I have a loud volume horn and a low volume horn. A horn on your ebike may have helped. Be aware from a distance you look like a pedal only bicycle. Motor vehicles may not realize how fast you're going and might pull out in front of you. At least use helmet mirrors. Also I noticed you often riding to the far right in lanes which aren't wide enough for lane sharing. If a lane isn't wide enough for lane sharing the safest place for a cyclist/MB'er is in the center of the lane, this is called Lane Control. When you ride to the far right in narrow lanes it encourages motor vehicles to do squeeze bys. Using Lane Control causes a passing vehicle to have to change lanes to pass. Just like they'd have to do with any other vehicle.
I literally said to my gf not an hour ago “damn I’d never ride a bike that quiet” as a guy flew through an intersection on a near silent crotch rocket.

Sorry about your accident. Be careful back injuries sometimes don't show any physical injuries until a few weeks go by. That's what happened to me when I fell off my pickup truck on my head. All in all there wasn't a lot of initial pain but then a few weeks went by and my fingertips started getting numb. Now my whole hand and arm is about useless and I need to get surgery on my neck. So if it shows any signs of numbing fingertips be careful. Thanks for the heads up on the helmet tip lol. Grip it and rip it.
Some people driving have no respect for others on the road sometimes people say I ride slow and can’t keep up but I rather be safe than sorry 😞 don’t take risks with your life.

I feel your pain sir. 4 weeks ago a fellow blew a stop sign and drove over me.....twice. Once going forward and again backing up but not before dragging me up the street 10'. I ended up with 3 cracked ribs a partially collapsed lung and my left leg from the knee to ankle some sort of funky soft tissue damage.....helmet 100% saved me from being an instant statistic. Oh and the nice expensive aluminum framed Electra 7i Towny was tacoed at the rear end, crank arms were bent so bad they had to be cut off when I rebuilt the bike....yup nothing that a torch, 3/4" electrical conduit benders,dead blow hammer and stubbornness can't fix.lol......even have the same rear tire. The engine's worst hiccup was the carb got squished and broke at the engine intake, expansion pipe got one more dent(no biggy). As a matter of fact I swear the engine runs better now....haha Cheers good sir. Many safe journeys

@@darrinfry2251 if the 2 is stamped into the top of the piston it more than likely came from a Z90. 48mm diameter for a 40mm stroke. Difficult engine to tune but when you do man she sure sings

That is a cool bike but it's not an e-bike what type of bike do you call these and just to let you heads up I was also in a bike wreck back in the day had a orange neon skateboard helmet on that I painted that I got for free if it wasn't for the helmet I would have been up in heaven but lucky that helmet saved my life yes I was bruised up pretty badly but at least I was on my two feet at the time walking around slowly I was testing a regular bike out and went around the corner the bike frame snapped in half lucky though lucky the pipe of A-frame didn't go in me or else I would have been dead lucky I had helmet on but that pipe was in me I would have been dead the person use trying to fix it and welded welt they didn't do a very good job but that's okay that's another story another time and they will go to hell when their time comes
