I just tell people like that to eff off. If they have a problem they can call the authorities. Or better yet, I offer to call the authorities myself. If you aren't violating what the signage clearly states then you should report that Karen to the authorities for harassment. Otherwise they'll continue on with their power trip.

You can’t do that if you don’t know who she is. She could be an elected officer of the association that runs the lake or is married to one. In which case you could be permanently banned. She could also be just a busy body that thinks she is in charge. Either way just be polite and do whatever.

It seems to me there should be some means of either appealing a rule or applying for a variance. The jet board does not appear to be anywhere near as fast as a jet ski. I understand the need for rules, especially on lakes that get heavy use. But, c'mon man!

You can probably get those (clone) carbs online for around $12 new. They usually perform surprisingly well. Save yourself the headache of trying to clean/rebuild the old one.

just a tip, whenever both plug wires go into a single ignition coil, its referred to as a "wasted spark" ignition, meaning both plugs fire every time.

Get Vinny a doggie vest and the people will leave you alone. When my Dalmatian jumped in after me when I was done waterskiing, I couldn't get him back in the boat and had to tow him to shore. He had a vest on and enjoyed the ride. The following weekend I installed a fold down staircase to replace the ladder and solved the problem altogether.

After you cleaned the carb it started easy and rapped up faster it runs 100 percent better. maybe you can copy that prop with a mold and pour some bronze ones or aluminum hire it done by a foundry.

I myself would have not left the lake. Just cause people own lake shore they think they own the water/lake and can control what happens on the water. I would have told her to call the DNR. Vinny did such a great job. It is not a jet ski by any means

The wake from your surf board was nothing in comparison to the one generated by the fast moving, big boat that was towing someone on a float. Prejudice really makes having a fun time a difficult thing to do. Seems there are "haters" to interrupt every activity. Evert dirt bike rider has had the pleasure of meeting one or more.

That pontoon pulling the kids was putting out a way bigger wake than that surf jet ever was so I don't understand why she was just signaling out a jet ski and I also saw a runabout boat too that puts out a huge wake. Oh Vinny looked great he looked a little scared at first then he looked fine after a bit.

That was so cool sucks about the wake thing but others were riding in the area as well to and wake can be dangerous but at the end of the day u were just trying to have a good time with the family.
