@@ryoji4200 half the video was spent commenting on how new shoes are new. But he hasn’t experienced this collection of things because this is the only pair of new shoes he’s had. He’s not actually describing these shoes specifically, he’s describing any new shoes. The starting line is flawed. I’m not commenting on his opinion, only his benchmark.
@@ryoji4200 coming in hot with the “Cry about it” like you’re the king of one-liners. It’s almost impressive how you managed to contribute absolutely nothing to the conversation while simultaneously making yourself look like you ran out of actual comebacks back in 2015
First defending MKBHD's Wallpaper App and now reviewing his shoes? Seems odd like Tailosive is trying to butter us up for something he's about to start selling... hmmm
The world has always been stupid, but now it's gone to a higher level. Buying shoes because they're recommended by a guy on YT talking nonsense about electronics, with zero technical education. He talks about how it fits in his hand and whether the color is OK. Who are the viewers of such channels? Amoebas?
I get that you interviewed MKBHD early into your career, but the simping is pretty tone deaf considering what’s been happening. If you want to wear the shoes, wear the shoes, but the timing of this video could have been better
Hi, I have wide feet as well and if you make sure when getting shoes that along side the size that they have a W, that will ensure that the shoes are far more comfortable for those with wide shoes. I always do this and I've never had a problem with shoes being tight or feeling slightly uncomfortable due to the feet being wide. 10:08
Okay wow. I figured you’d at least SOMEWHAT understand people having a problem with an out of touch influencer peddling a top off but you decided to double down.
Honestly, in a world where clothes don’t last and shoes suck ass, MKBHD merchandise and clothing don’t look bad at all. Certainly on the pricier side, but way better that the stupid expensive brands that won’t last a cycle in a washing machine. And I’m saying this as someone outside the US, so for me it’s even more expensive.
I usually wear my shoes until they are beyond worn out but I've always bought new shoes. Never really thought about used shoes before might be budget hack for the future if needed.
These shoes are definitely very expensive but my man, please don't get used shoes or shoes from thrift store, I am all for buying used and saving money but your shoes are supposed to protect your feet and you know everyone's feet shape is different and shoes adapt to that shape over time os when you buy used shoes, you are buying shoes that have adapted to someone else's foot shape. Also if you look for deals, shoes form Nike, Puma (I don't mean the fancy Jordans or whatever, I mean your running shoes, Nike Flex experince, Nike down shifters are good cheap running shoes) etc are not that expensive, as a runner I tell you, never wear used shoes, people who do that with Jordans and stuff, 1 they are stupid 2 that might make you look cool or whatever for a while but it will do more damage to your foot than walking barefoot.
Drew, don’t feel guilty about being cheap when it comes to clothes. I get most of my clothes at the Goodwill and I wear shoes and clothes until they literally fall apart. Socks, underwear, hats - don’t matter. I just don’t give a shit. 🤷♂️ And it’s all good. 👍
The first shoes he did were sort of a high top. They looked bad ass. I think these look pretty nice. I am not familiar with the brand. The bid I have on stock x for the flower shop adidas collab would make you blush. Edited bc autocorrect changed bid to big. Annoying.
I was almost interested and I might have even bought them if they were like 60 $ but 189 $ and shipping beginning in a quarter of a year is absolutely outrageous. As good as they look but noooo way.
He’ll just downgrade again and recommend the cheaper option: duct tape and cardboard. “Everyone doesn’t need the latest and greatest; you can do more with less.” Then he’ll be back to new standard shoes because “new job”.
My favorite shoes are the Adidas Ultraboosts. I doubt I’ll ever find anything better. I’d recommend investing in nice shoes, your feet will thank you later in life
I actually bought the originals about a year or so ago. Then when the mostly black color came out I got those too. I'll probably get these too. They really are so comfortable out of the box.
If you have wide feet, you might want to try some barefoot options - Flux, Xero, Origos etc. Unlkke traditional shoes, they are all shaped like human foot and have a wide toe box.
I'm a student at MKBHD's alma mater, Stevens Institute of Technology (typing from my dorm). I highly recommend Stevens to any CS, Business, or Engineering-minded student looking for a good college to go to.
Overall, I thought the review was good especially since you reviewed them like a normal person. You should review MKBHD's new ridge wallet design next. It's more affordable than the shoes 😆
@@TailosiveTech maybe it’s a country difference. But I’m the Netherlands we size 45 is size 45 no matter the gender. Woman most often have smaller feet so they buy smaller sizes
I don’t review shoes normally. I don’t buy nice shoes normally. But let me review those shoes and put that online 🥸. This seems like an ad, using your audience for selling those shoes.
