I Got More Than I Bargained For In Dumalag Philippines 

I have been seriously considering moving to the Philippines , my home would have to be on a island with very few people and only accessible by boat with big house by Canadian standards on a beach with lots of property and fruit trees , so I could make my own cocktails with fresh off the tree pineapples and coconuts sit out on the beach and watch the sun set ... Your video makes me want to move there more and more

Ouch it’s hot there. I got up this morning and it’s 21 C in my house. It’s 6 C outside this morning. It’s a very well insulated house. High of 23C expected today. It’s never been 36C in my house. I love this time of year because AC and heater have been off for several weeks. I live in Eastern WA State USA. We have 4 seasons here.

i missed that place suhot back from 1997 when not yet develop...

The eco-tour guides should, at least, learn to smile a lot and not look so serious. It's not a classroom for the tourists and if it is then they should be very receptive to questions even with several jokes, they missed out on and didn't comprehend.

The Philippines cities are crowded and over populated, but the provinces are empty with loads of potential. Now with the economic prospects in manufacturing Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia have got on the train to take the opportunities available. The Philippines should also develop their manufacturing sector.. So many natural resources wasted. Like coconuts in the province they just cut it dry and export the copra.. it is time for big capital investment in this sector, that will create employment and wealth for the people. Coconut today there are so many finished products made from and coconut oil is a big thing in the cosmetics industry. Till when the Philippines will just produce copra and export for other countries to make ten times the money they make.

Take care of yourself, Michael. I lost half my brain cells there in 8 years of trying to deal with the locals. The relentless heat and lack of sleep isn't much help either.
