Some notable examples that I think are interesting: Their debut mini album, 17 Carat, just has a group set of postcards and a folded poster, no photobook or photocards. The outer cardboard is also super flimsy and I have never seen a copy that is not mildly damaged (but to be fair, all the copies I have seen were shipped). I think this was due to Pledis' lack of budget at debut. They have a few book-style albums in a row that are all the same height but slightly different styles: AL1, which is hardcover with a paper dust jacket, Teen,Age, which is hardcover with a seperate folio and plastic sleeve, and Director's Cut, which is paperback. Both of the consecutive albums An Ode and Heng:garae are bag-style albums, neither of which was well received so I don't know Pledis tried it twice. Heng:garae is also a 'DIY' album: the photobook comes in a few seperate booklets and includes screws to put it together. There is a infamous video of the members unboxing and DIY-ing albums where Joshua punches holes through a photocard. Your Choice and Attacca have random member photobooks (no photobook has all the members in it, only a set). Again, not popular. Again, not sure why Pledis did it multiple times. First press Heng:garae and Semicolon also have this, but second press have OT13 photobooks. Face The Sun is one of their largest albums but its repackaged album Sector 17 is maybe 1/2 the size so it looks really funny/weird if you display albums chronologically like I do.

While I enjoy variety, I enjoy it less in things I plan to display or collect. This sounds rough for collectors and Carats. It's also made me very curious about what the next album will look like...lol

​@@SashaMarie It has it's upsides and downsides and there are many Carats who are better displaying them than I am. I personally really like the variety and if I don't like one album's packaging, at least I know it won't stick around.

@@SashaMarie omg RU-vid ate my super ridiculously long comment on this video so that it looks like this is the only one I left. I can't blame them, I guess it really was too long hahahaha But I was sharing about my album pulls and whatnot. My summary was that I got DK stickers in both Fight and Fallen albums, I got Hoshi Bookmark for fight and Dino bookmark for fallen. Album PC I got Wonwoo and Joshua for fight and Scoups and SEUNGKWAN (my bias) for Fallen which is my favorite version as well. I got a gorgeous DK pob with a picture "in the good pajamas" and Hoshi Weverse Version.

I'll definitely get to that point one day with Seventeen, I just have no idea who my focus member to collect would be...if I started today it would be Mingyu and Dino but if you asked me tomorrow...could be anyone. lmao My bias list is as unsteady as a new born deer.

And they all look like grooms and carats all over the world are I Do-ing daily. Lol. Every single FML carver (carat version) I have seen is soooo good. I hate that they're all good coz it makes me want to buy all 13. Lol. I do not have the money to do that. I'm currently already collecting 4 (dk, shua, boo, vernon). 😂😅 I am starting Dino with FML too. omg 😂😂

It just felt like the right thing to do haha ^_^
