I’m surprised you don’t get demons like I do…. These people look like the gold 2 players I played…and my plat games are ridiculous and looks like champ 1 players…

"PROS and KHANS" (pros and cons). Photoshop a bunch of pros and a bunch of "Sunlesses"
I’m pretty sure they’ll always have some type of delay if you are playing back live voice through your audio device. When we record, we only listen to it after during editing. Definitely trip over words like that.
Its intresting to see that every play you basically wait for them to challenge then hit it around them. You opt for that over a strong clear every time. Almost like you're just waiting for the right moment. I dont think u boomed it down to their side once the whole video. This was very insightful
I don't know where you find those slow diamond players, I'm Gold and the speed of the players I encounter is crazy. I've found several gold players with incredible aerial plays.
it depends of wich server u play on. in eu yes diamonds are more skilled. i just got to champ 1 now and everyone is playing much better than we see in this videos. i learned car control and positioning and rotation early diamond even plat 3. u get better by playing with higher ranks than u. i only played with champs in casual and i finally got there myself
@@uhohhotdognah I play on us servers too and play mostly 2s and I couldn’t believe how slow the other team was either in the first game. I’m guessing new accounts have a higher chance to get matched with other new accounts which leads to game play like that first game.
I feel like @8:20 was him just being excited for the goal. I changed my what a save to what a play just for this reason. Its giving the congrats to the play makers instead of being negative towards the goalie. I enjoy the matches where more people are hyping the game up with quickchats whenever something cool happens. Even if it is "negative" towards eachother hopefully everyone can stay within the sportsmanlike quickchat shit talk. Once you start typing it becomes a show for the other players to watch the beef unfold lol. Like a fight at a hockey game.
At the time of coloring, select the layers. I don't think converting to a smart object will work. You could have duplicated and used the merge layers, then just select and go to Image, Adjustments, and find Match Color to get the colors from the desired layer.
This is exactly why I hate my d2 games cause I’m getting bummed all the time by my team then when I go back to net they follow me and bump me from making a save and then we conceded or something 🙄
These are the worst diamonds I've ever seen. I wish I could get these diamonds. I have people hitting ceiling shots, wall to air shots on the reg and ground dribbles. I'm C2 if those are diamonds.
Watching the diamond games just makes me feel like im so bad man. I see every mistake they make and I notice I make them too. But I feel like theyre so bad watching your gameplay but I know they are my level I dont know man
I like how your humble at these ranks and not just shitting all over them, but I guess you wouldn’t be able to teach us if it was goal after goal so it makes sense
I..... don't know about the mvp in the 3s game..... his win celebration showed some car control that is not very common in that rank. I'm not one to shout smurf on everyone but that looked a little sus to me
Idk if it's the region or I haven't played in a while but that play looks like plat at best not diamond , diamond 2 and up here everyone hitting most arials and shots . Decent vid though.
Man, I don't know where you find these diamond players who can't freakin aerial. The diamonds I play with are hitting cross-field aerial shots off the ceiling... Maybe it's perspective, though.
Same here. I regularly get people who can setup and execute air dribbles, both ground to air and wall to air. Most can get the ball on their car and flick it at will, and they rotate and challenge WAY better than in thesee videos. No idea how this is diamond, it looks like gold in game 1, gets slightly better after.
This is probably related to time of day. I sometimes play a few games during my lunch break when I'm in homeoffice, as well as playing in the evening, and the difference in game quality is insane. And as Leth probably does his recordings during the day, he'll end up with the lower end of game quality.
16:07 when you explained this by showing us first hand what you meant by not overcommitting it really made sense. I’m plat 2 in doubles but everyone usually tries to aerial whenever the ball is in the air so I always do the same and like you said a lot of the times the ball just ends up in the middle. Definitely going to stop that bad habit now though
Don't worry Leth, I'm a 90's kid too. Early 90's at that. Lol. I've started loving it because it's fun to tell people I was born in the late 19 hundreds. Makes them pause for a sec.
@@NIBRU_9 Hahaha not too bad. More just makes me laugh inside. I'm also weird and enjoy aging as I'm in a way better place in life with zero drama compared to my early 20's.
Don’t say God and Jesus Name in Vain it’s a sin. God and Jesus Loves and Bless you all in Jesus Christ Holy Mighty and Powerful Name we all Pray Amen🙏❤️
lol. because u think higher rank = people do more stuff. most of the times it's just very small things they do differently or consistently that doesn't look like anything while watching, but a gold will lose to a diamond 98% of the time.
lol I'm d2 and when watching this i was like wth my games are way faster then this and way more mechanical. so i decided to watch one of my replays for the first time. lol omg its so slow and bad when your watching and not playing. humbling moment for lol. great video Leth
Yeah for real. When you actually feel the downtime then you realise how it's not that fast. But people are definitely getting better at more creative shots. Like carries and flicks.
Your videos are so nuts to me. The people you play look like silvers, and I play the same rank (diamond) and they play like SSLs. They're doing flip reset aerials and musty flicks at like Plat 3/D 1
Ok this is actually frustrating for me because I am seeing him play diamond lobbies and they look like bots, when I play diamond 1 lobbies they all speed flip on kick off and are doing air dribbles and flip resets.....
I always feel the same until I watch my own replays and cringe lol. When you aren’t actively controlling a car, your brain is more free to take in more info which makes the gameplay look lower level.
@@Lethamyr Awesome! Great video as always. The slow/cautious playstyle you demonstrate in the lower/mid ranks really does a good job of demonstrating how you can win without trying to be a maniac that's all over the field carrying the game.
Is that really how slow the Diamond games are in NA? Jeez, in OCE servers people are doing speed flips and free-style aerials… and that’s just Platnum.
Based off the gameplay I've seen in this most recent rtssl I feel like your time played is taken into account. As much as I don't want to dis any players, those you played against in the 2v2s aren't the same freestyling diamonds I play against.
I love your videos Lethamyr, I gone from daimond to champ 2 already in this series Ik it’s early I love your videos, they put me in such a good mood, keep up the good work!
Meme ideas: Rizzler- rizzo with the rizz Sizzle- sizzling in the pan Anthena - athena with anthena Sandmam- jon sandman with the sand guy from spider-man
Thank you for this series Leth, I'm definitely seeing where i've gone wrong the last year. I gave up ball chasing for sure, but now i'm really cognizant of not rushing to make something happen, because then ANYTHING can happen. Holding back and picking my battles is already improving not just my gameplay, but my experience overall.
In my Dimond lobbies most people speedflip, flip reset, air dribble, wavedash etc. The only thing they really lack is good positioning and general field awareness.
Audio definitely sounds crisper, but feels very aggressive at the same time. Kinda hard to sit through a whole video, listening to it. No hate, just how I felt ❤
no way this is low diamond, NA must be completely different from EUW then. ppl on here in d3 flip resseting all the time, and the didnt hit a single aerial in this first game
Idea : Road to ssl with keyboard and mouse so you don't have to hold back your mechanics and just focus on learn people what to do when you really don't have mechanics yourself.
I’m not sure if the ranking system recognizes previous seasons ranks and if a new account puts you with other players that truly haven’t progressed past a certain rank. But I was d1-d2 2 weeks ago after coming back from a break and it was all Aerials and ceiling shots with players but having no control throwing the ball away down the field. Which makes sense as this is where I left off skills wise. But the diamonds in the video don’t correspond with my situation. That’s why I ask if anyone knows a new account will affect matchmaking. Progressing into champ 2, now it’s flip resets / Mustys and slightly more ball control. Who knows maybe from d1 - champ 2/3 the game speeds up that much?
There´s no way these are diamonds!!! I´ve stopped playing for 2-3 seasons, I peaked at low champ 1 and when I came back, diamonds were flip reseting and celing shooting and I was like... WTF happened?!? lol
Hey leth loving the content!! Consider having an overview section at the end to give players in this rank homework and/or ideas of things to focus on in game ?
I'm upset that I'm Diamond 2, but I play a much different game. Everyone speed flips on kick, aerials are consistently met and 50'd, and players play much smarter than what you're seeing. I wish I played against players like you were in 2s.
Yo leth, as a new gen current d2-3 i can verify that we do not stop alot and wait alot when we have the ball. its kinda like were champ player, were capapable of making aerial plays and good shots from anywhere it just comes down to our accuracy and execution of those plays. we also are pretty fast for the most part. We kind of yolo each play but more of a like "Kinda Calculated YOLO"
As a GC player who was Diamond 3- low Champ 1 back when F2P hit, it's interesting to see what these ranks are like now after not having played in them for several years. The level is definitely much higher in terms of mechs. I could barely hit the ball more than once in succession in the air, and neither could anyone else. It's funny to me how each rank has gotten better mechanically yet the positioning and decision making is still awful.
two areas worth highlighting while you climb 1. single jump/body blocking 2. how to cover the most options while inducing the least panic/over-coverage (example, opponent is cross map ur momming + bump, so you decide to cover low and potentially recover the open net. the decision was not covering high with jump)
Bro what servers are these!? My Diamond 1 games are way more challenging than this. You got dudes flip reset aerial from their back wall, saves from across the map straight to net literally Zen mode. This looks like straight Gold league.
How were you able to play like a bot and win in Diamond like that?? My Plat 3 lobbies look so much faster than that game. Just goes to show how much positioning matters… and I would call myself a pretty patient player!
I'm like mid diamond in 2s and I don't know if NA just suck in general or you're getting only actual diamond players in your lobby, bcs every other game I run into someone who can ceiling shot tripple touch reset musty. Don't get me wrong, they are all ball centered like a horse in a race so no smart plays, but the mechanics are wiiild.
Thanks leth! A nice series to watch as always. I had a tought, it could be nice to choose what you queue when you get a significant difference in ranking, so that the 2s and 3s games would stay around the same level of play. All the best!
So I mainly play cas 2v2 and my rank is champ 2-3 but in cas it's a lil higher. I try to save the ball to the side so it doesn't spill mid, but I often find that the other team still has a lot of pressure after doing so. Assuming I can't catch the save, how should I go about this. Where is the best spot to hit the save to?
My only criticism is that I think Leth should pepper in a few shots at goal. They don't have to be good shots, just something at net. Every game going into overtime just seems like it's Leth stalling the game because he doesn't want to outshine the lower level players. But if he is going to show good positioning to save almost every shot, he should be able to shoot a little as well if there's an obvious opportunity instead of just putting everything off target.
that moment at 19:40... it doesn't get better for a while im in D3/C1 and that shit still happens in solo queue. Have control of ball, BOTH teammates decide its now their turn to touch it for some reason
I feel like I stay back too often and don't commit rather than ballchasing. Also my Problem is that I have many days where I miss like all the balls in the air so I Drop again after playing good 1-2 days
ive been wanting to ask this question for a long time but I just don't understand how I'm dimond 1 and the players I play are so much more skilled then the players in your matches why is that? like they would be faster hit the ball in the air more and sometimes even areals double taps one after the other or insane precise flicks I feel like were are playing a different rank but were not.
That happens all the time in 3s. What is the right thing to do? Cause I want to rotate and they stop in front of me which stalls me then I feel like I have to go and then they decide to go when I’m right beside them and now we’re overcommitting and we get scored on cause no one’s back post and we’ve lost our momentum. It’s so frustrating.
that 3s match with newt looked like the most annoying match ever. literally half the balls ur about to go on or follow up on, he just flies in and smacks it randomly. wonder if hes just bad or its like revenge for not letting him play goalie
