You all make such a good team, it’s unbelievable. Russ - thinking quickly and immediately figuring out what goes on in the robber‘s heads, Jarred - although having the experience in Martial Arts deciding not to try to stop them in any way and then Harry - being so courageous and saying No to getting out of the van but at the same time deciding to give away those important things with the intention to save themselves. You couldn’t have done it any better. You had to give them the stuff, otherwise you never know if they would have been satisfied and have done something worse. And not to forget Stan - taking in the news so calmly and then making this documentary out of it! Brilliant!! The editing, beautiful!

This time I want to thank Harry for being the perfect person for project Africa. Sure having someone that could communicate with the robbers is one thing, but Harry being so chill and down to earth was the perfect personality to deal with such a horrendous situation. The way the story was explained, Harry remaining so calm and collected, while trying to de-escalate maybe saved someone's life that day. Definitely not your fault the passports were taken, I think It was an excellent plan to get them to go away ASAP. Good luck to the team, thanks for being so positive about the country.

The way the police responded is 10X better than how they respond when you are robbed in Canada... they actually went and looked for evidence WITH you. Happy you all are safe!

Seriously props to you all for telling the story rationally and in a very intelligent way. It would have been easy for you guys to react purely emotionally and see and show Angola in a very negative light as a result of those events, and you had every right to do so, but you still spent the time to think about how these guys' circumstances might have lead to what they did, and made this reasoning coexist with your feelings about the events without one nullifying the other. And to be clear, I'm not saying these people's circumstances excuse everything. I'm saying what a lot of people in power nowadays are failing to understand is that you don't address these kinds of issues by stopping at blaming and punishing the bad guys on a case by case basis and with short-term plans, you do it by reflecting on what systemic issue(s) pushed them to the act, and fixing *that*.

Never ever joined any channel at YT since it's beginnings, but man.............what a bunch of heroes are you. Follow you since the start, and always knew something comes around the corner any moment. Thinking first of dangers from the wildlife it's your own kin that is throwing stones into the mirror. I hope you guys can keep going with this project. Getting robbed like this is simply bad luck, and it could have happened even in the UK. Obviously when in different continent the loss of Visas is a massive hit, but like yous said, you are still alive and in the big picture shit happens and you are still alive.
