☕You're welcome! I'm hoping this was just a case of very bad luck and me not researching them enough before hand. My biggest advice would be, if you haven't heard anything and the market is just over a week away, chase and ask if the event is still on. Best of luck and remember to have fun and spread your brand awareness.
Hey local! I've found some but it is a little dry here. I would give Art on Vine an explore on their next show and if you think your work suits give it a go!
Heyo!! I just stumbled upon you randomly and honestly I loved this video and Can relate to all the scammed problem happened to me a while back from a convention costed me 500+ the materials and such I made for the conventions I am seamstress so I make plushies and cosplay stuff =)
Hey!! Thank you so much for your kind words, I'm really glad you enjoyed and was able to relate to the situation (sadly). I really hope you at least got to sell all that stock as well, because hey...least the work was done.
I’ll be tabling at anime Ohio this year as well! 😊 I’ll definitely be checking out your table when I’m there! I hope you do great at your other conventions! 😊
We have a load of obscure teas in the house atm, no one can remember where they came from. Probably a gift, but everyone's too polite to drink any or throw it all away. Scammers really get my blood boiling (Ikr, very unique). Is there no legal route you can take? Good video though!
Thank you! I feel like I now know exactly where and how teas multiple! We probably could take them to a small claims court or something but I don't think anyone thinks it's worth it for $60. Best thing for us to do is to call them out, thankfully their social medias are very dead with no interactions.
Oh my gosh twinsies for the worse reason! Any luck on a refund on your end? Now I'm extra glad I made this video, hopefully it can save at least one vendor from ever applying!
I am also from Cincinnati and just found your channel. I just did an event at Urban Artifact in College Hill. I thought about doing the Super Cincy Expo but it's the first year and I kind of wanted to see how it goes. I'm still getting the hang of all these events. Best of luck on your events this year.
Hello local! How was your event at College Hill? Yeah, I'm a little anxious about it being the first year too but I'm hoping with the cool guest they have going it will make people interested to check it out. No matter if it is a flop or success I WILL be reporting on it here!
@@kirstteas it was good but not as many people as I would have liked. Since I draw in a more kawaii style I have a harder time finding good shows. I will probably drop by the expo I worked for Gamestop for so many years and love videogames, so it's my kind of event. I will stop by your booth and see how it is going if I do.
@stufficorn awww yay I would love that! I know your pain, but I see it as if you make money back to cover the table and gain some followers on any of your media's it's a win!
Loving all your videos and updates on how you biz is going Kirsty! Glad your feeling better and look forward to more videos 😊🌻✨🌧️ I bet your gonna kill it at the anime expos!
Long story short. Me and 31 (to which the space could not fit, so many had to go home) other vendors paid for tables at a market that basically didn't exist because no organiser showed up or advertised the event.
From what I've gathered from both myself and other artist, it's all apart of the gig 😅 just not the scammed part. Thank you though! I'm excited to report on those events
