I got schooled from the comments in the last video, which I'm really grateful for. Always good to learn different ways.
In today's video I got called to a job where I'd done a boiler service end of last year and recently they've been smelling gas in and around the building.

Nice work, perseverance paid off, I always thought a flat with a meter fitted outside of the flat had to have a ECV fitted in the flat for occupants to Isolate, was this maybe a crude way of doing that?

Good vid broski, never yet seen a gas isolation valve fitted and left abandoned externally like that one. Is that common down your way?

wow spooky, i think this is more common than you think mate, we had this happen on the family accommodation off base once, i am wondering if years of weather exposure causes them to shrink or shift the olive with constant heat/cold cycles from the elements. anyone else had this problem as well with external shutoffs,
