Omg I've brought up the fantasy skin tone on so many posts because so many people failed to see how Monique was a big deal, especially in regards to Black-coded characters. I love her deep and vibrant color, I'm excited to see how else they can give us these beautiful skintones.
Karla's shoes are giving me vocaloid vibes ngl👀. Imo Shadow High getting colors makes me excited for future releases. They're still using darker tones and edgy(ish) color schemes and are using fantasy skin colors to different them from RH but man it makes me excited with how crazy the possibilities will get now that they've opened the flood gates. And the clothes are soo unbelievably good!! I seriously cannot fathom how these are being sold at 25$ price point(at least on Amazon). Honestly if these dolls have been shown to me as a child, I swear my mind would've been blown away and would've never imagined that I could've ever afford it for long time lol. These are worthy to be called fashion dolls! For me, I'm excited for Karla and Rexx. I'm anxiously waiting for stores to have them in stock.
I found Monique and Reina for 8$ on December 17 at a discount store and I almost screamed in the store because the only two they had were my favorites. I want to get Zooey and Karla next.

i think the main theme for this year is going to be runway, similar to omg's fashion show line. i mean considering that theyre releasing the runway dolls from the show in the summer and the most of shadow high series 2 being fashion design focus it wouldnt be too out of the ordinary also i ADORE moniques dress i hope to see more silhouettes than the dreaded mermaid dress
At some point, I read Karla was based off of the fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, which explains the white eyelashes, her name and overall outfit! I think she is beautiful, both dolls are.
Lovely review! I agree that when it comes to compromises, I think they made the right decision to drop the second outfits to justify an affordable price point. If the rumors are true about clothing pieces sold separately for both kids and collectors to get, then overall that will leave everyone happy. Also I'm curious who's gonna be your favorite once you get the whole line of series 2, so far Zooey is my favorite 🥰✨️

With the decline in the quality of Barbie Collector Dolls (Gold Label and up), I found refuge in Integrity Toys dolls. While my inner doll collector was in a good place with them for a while, the decline in quality and increase in prices has made me skip several of their releases and started to become more selective with what I purchase from them. Still, they are not what they used to be 10 to 5 years ago. Rainbow High has always caught my eye, but I found them to be too big for my collection as I prefer the more standard-sized doll: Disney Store, Barbie, Integrity, etc. I have tried purchasing them on several attempts but I always ended up not getting them. Finally, the Storm Twins came along and they were too striking design-wise for me to pass them up, especially with those Black Friday sales so I finally bit the bullet and got myself my first set of Rainbow/Shadow High dolls. After deboxing and analyzing them, I can say for a fact: you are not wrong when you claim these dolls have Integrity Toys' level of quality in their clothing. The amount of different fabrics, embroidery, materials, etc. used for these dolls' clothing is out of this world! I can even dare to claim that some of these Rainbow High dolls' clothes even surpass the more basic/cheaper dolls from Integrity Toys.

Shadow High looks like they are going to have a strong series 2 despite not having second outfit. I’m not sure I get having hangers if there aren’t extra outfits.
I love rainbow high dolls and I’m glad they are still being produced, I love the detail in the outfits and in the accessories….also I’m super glad the hangers are back especially because I’m missing them from series four and shadow high series one. But anyway thank you for the review I love your videos and appreciate you taking the time to make them!!
Your right! These dolls are starting to reach the Integrity toy's doll quality for $25.00! I do not care that they don't come with a second outfit. These dolls are well worth their price. These series 2 dolls are AMAZING! Of course I'm getting all of them! Thanks for this review!
My favorites are Zooey and Glitch, while the outfits are high quality and amazing as always not a fan of the tiny accessories especially the makeup brushes the dolls can't even hold them. They can be easily lost too. The box art is stunning tho.
I'm not sure if you had heard, but Dollar Tree has started its own fashion doll line called Friends Forever Club, they plan to make a cartoon, and release books. The dolls have been out for about a month, and it would be cool to see a video of your opinion on them.
I've ordered and cancelled my SHS2 dolls a few times, bouncing between who I want more. Now I'm sold AF on Monique & ordered her, Glitch and Karla. Zooey gotta wait, I need to see her hair/face in person
So… I have a theory as to why they’re all fashion-focus based and why they don’t have the second outfit (despite the lower price point). I’m probably wrong but- okay. I think that the fashion packs coming out may be their competition with the next rainbow high series who are also not getting a second outfit?? Like how there was the Rainbow Vision dolls with them all being music focused. So the new dolls have a tie-in with the other products and the new animation season. Just my thoughts. I dunno. As for Karla… she is definitely inspired by Karl Lagerfeld who was the head for Chanel for years (spelling?)! Karl was known for wearing leather gloves with a very formal suit. He had long white hair he kept tied back. And Choupette is his cat. Choupette means “sweetheart” in French. I love her so much and I can’t wait to get my Amazon order with her!

I’ve ordered Monique, because she might be my favorite (?). I don’t like the makeup brushes thing. I’d rather have more earrings. I’m ALWAYS hoping for earrings, lots of dolls have come with pierced ears and no earrings.
Im actually excited for this lower price, I havent been able to collect them at all until i got Mila Berrymore for 13 bucks on black friday this year and got one as a gift for christmas. Theyre just sooooo unattainable for a lot of people bc theyre so expensive. Maybe itll help my out of USA friends where the dolls retail for 60 per doll X.X..
Ahhh congrats on getting these 2. Monique is STUNNING I just wish her dress was more like the artwork. Her and Zooey are definitely my faves from series 2. I'm definetly going to miss the 2nd outfit as I liked to have a choice, but I am glad the price reflects the lose of the 2nd outfit. I'm a bit on the fence with the accesories - the phones and laptops are fine (love that they can hold their phones) but I don't really care much for the smaller accesories - too easy to loose. Why not give them bags? Yeah, I know it's probably so they can sell more accessory packs but still. Would have preferred bags over makeup.
I agree! Getting all these itty bitty pieces without something to put them in seems really silly. Only a few of the blind bags suit these looks too so I can't imagine they were expecting people to have bags already...
These two dolls are my favorites along-side Zooey. I am super excited to get these three, but I'm worried that I'm running low on storage space. I think I need some new shelves soon, but I'm not exactly sure which ones I should buy. I don't have a huge studio, so I need them medium sized, obviously durable, and preferably white colored. Does anybody have any suggestions?
I ordered Rexx and I’m so excited! He comes next weekend and I think he’s absolutely stunning! The next one I’ll probably get is Glitch and then Karla. I’m not interested in Monique, Zooey or Dia. Maybe when I see them in person it will change my mind but from pictures I’m not too connected to them rn.
Absolutely not, I agree, I have watched many people that were very into Integrity Dolls but not so much since recently they have dropped significantly in quality. Which for their price points and how hard it is to actually acquire. They so amazing, once I recover from Christmas I will totally be getting all of them. Hey, I hope you see this I just had a few questions on your yellow Delilah filled doll did she ever get your yellowing in the joints mine did and I’m not sure how to get rid of it. I’ve been trying all sorts of things I’m not sure if it’s steam from the yellow fabric that she wears are usually don’t play with them. I just display them so I have really no idea how this could’ve happened. I’ve been trying all sorts of things. Do you have any tips?
I don't think you're biased. These dolls are ridiculously high quality. Especially for the price. I haven't collected rainbow high until these dolls because they are finally my aesthetic. But I have collected barbie off and on since I was a kid in the 70s and 80s. (I miss Barbie's old quality) and I collect several doll lines now. These are far beyond what I expected. I am absolutely obsessed with my beautiful Monique and Zooey.
I feel mixed on the newer, brighter skintones, and SH Series 2 looks okay to me, yet not as impressive as SH Series 1 or the Storm Twins (I love the darker color schemes, the creative use of greyscale, and the more goth, alternative fashions with those dolls.). Monique is my third favorite in SH Series 2 after Glitch and Rexx (whom I want to get so that I can steal their phones and laptop for Veronica, Naomi, and Heather, as those 3 dolls take priority in my SH collection). As for Karla and Dia Mante, I still feel like they are a bit too weird looking for my taste for some reason. I also wish that more SH Series 2 dolls had the more goth, alternative styles that the SH Series 1 dolls had a bit more of, as that is what got me into the SH line in the first place.
Since theyre finally making the rh runway dolls, im Hoping they make a series of shadow high ones. Would make sense for these guys to be the stylists or something if they arent already meant to be the runway dolls themselves? (Tho only monique and maybe glitch feel like theyd fit that)
my walmart last thursday had the boxes for sh series2 i freaked out when i saw the boxes, but it was sayin on box do no sell before... (i thought jan1) but i went to work today and the boxes arent there and the dolls arent on shelves yet so idk why they havent put em,maybe the date,or they still ve to do the tags/prices, or bc theres still a few sh/rh dolls left in the shelves and no space/ they waitin for those to be gone.. i hope its not bc of that, bc then it will take em forever to put em out..i wonder when they will but puttin em on shelves.. hopefully by next tuesday bc ive 20% off employee discount and wanna get all 4 girls. they on amazon ca but for 60 plus cad which is 3rd party seller price..
Monique is just shy of being a perfect doll for me. While I agree that I think they need deeper fantasy skin tones, I'm not vibing with how warm her skin tone is compared to the rest of her color palette which is very cool toned. I wish they had either gone all cool toned or all warm toned with her. Otherwise, she is downright fabulous and I love her face, her hair, and her outfit.

Also they're not listed as series 2 on Amazon, but other rainbow/shadow high listing all have the series number in the name 🤔 Love your videos btw!
