I’ve seen how Tech Deck is trying to improve! first this and then later they made a wooden obstacle and then those performance series boards. Tech Deck is really cool that they’re doing this for us fbers
I’m totally seeing that as well! It’s really nice to see TechDeck turning more professional in the products they are creating. I’m looking forward to what else TechDeck is going to produce next!
These things actually used to exsist like 10+ years ago! for some unexplainable reason they ended up falling out of popularity and are very rare to see now, its really cool that techdeck is reviving these!
I bet now you have the carousel part you can design a wood version to attach to it. Adding castors on the bottom if the diameter is larger would be a must. Just a plain wood surface you add your own obstacles to would be awesome. PS love the bullgod gripsion board my first pro deck it sheds great.
the old tech deck obstables in the early 2000s were thick solid plastic with metal coping and rails. tony hawk was branded all over them, you could find if you looked it up. if you wanan see how nice tech deck obstacles used to be, and then how they regressed and got to be cheap plastic toys. its good to see them trying to come back. but they still havent reached the level of construction they had in the early 2000s
Tech Deck totally got this concept from the guys that now run CloseUp Fingerskate, First seen in the 1999 Fingers of Fury VHS. Granted that tape was made by Tech Deck :p
I think this is a decent little obstacle, but for an experienced finger boarder, it might not be as useful. But! If you take the concept and revolutionalize it, maybe make one that's bigger, and made with better materials, it could be interesting. I've had this idea for an obstacle for so long now, but imagine a round table with a cut out in the center. You stand in the center and can Skate around the desk as much as needed without having to physically walk around like you would around a square park...
Tech deck: i i i i idea, i IDEA IIIIIIIDEAAAAAA me: dude chill out he still said it was cool tech deck: but he also said it was for complete beginners who have never ever touched a fingerboard me: ummmmmm ok tear down his studio. (tech deck gets ready to tear down the studio) me: jk he also said that it would get people into finger boarding and he also said that he likes the artwork on the board tech deck: uhhhh fine i wont tear down his studio 0: ):
Fingerboarders are just accept teck decos are garbage BUT one thing runs in my mind is tech decks aren't pro, they are made for kids But i don't know about pro and performance series
@@DLFingerboarding no, they wouldn't lol you don't make a business decision based off of "maybe people will buy this cuz it looks cool" not how that works.
Idk I see this as very gimmicky I’ve fingerboarded on spinning objects and the spin always makes my board act differently and the ledge looks awkward to hit
