The queen has landed. Wearied from her perilous flight she sheds her wings, burrows into the soft sand and begins to lay. The first children of the nomadic Formica Ereptor must grow quickly if they are to survive. Soon the ants will embark on a vast and treacherous journey through thick jungle and scorching desert. when i did it i had about 3700 food for replenishing my ants and 150 ants in total. To deal with the rove beetles the ants that were replenished killed them.

You can upgrade the ants with the royal jelly like your attack speed, the amount of health you loose and ect. Just click on one of the ants DNA strain that you choose from! then it should show you an icon to add the royal jelly to!

I think the coolest part about beating this challenge is discovering that the “royal jelly” which you’ve been thinking of as an abstract currency, is actually a legit thing that the scientists have been using the strengthen the ants. Because the woman says to incinerate anything contaminated with “that jelly”.

Neat attention to detail, trapjaw ants bite with such (relative) force that they experience recoil and launch themselves backwards which I noticed was a feature in this game

Fun fact:a leafcutter ant soldier like the infamous Atta cephalotes soldier can go up wards to 3mm - 23mm and eciton burchillie majors (army ant majors) can go up to 3mm - 12mm and the biggest species of army ants can go up wards to 0.5 inch majors that is as a thumbtack!

You should try Universe at War: Earth Assault. It is a lot like Empires of the Undergrowth, except with a different story and much more futuristic. Also, no hexagons to make building easy. But you should play it, i know you'll like it!
