This month alone I pulled the rainbow rare charizard gx from burning shadows from a single booster pack out of a zacian and zamazenta lunchbox tin, the shiny zard GX from hidden fates and just yesterday I pulled the shiny zard from champions path! And last month I pulled the holo reverse zard from xy and the rainbow zard from champions! My luck has been insane 🔥🍀🔥

Being a grading company seems to be easy money... just front load a bit of cash for advertising, get a decent reputation in the beginning and you're good to go. They don't even have quality assurance it seems.

pack fresh doesn't mean anything. A terribly made card can go into those packs. Pack fresh is not what you need to look for. It's print quality, which is not guaranteed.

Lol they have absolutely no shortage of submissions right challenging them does nothing. Im what other option do you have? Go to GCG who's name is about as good as raw pricing or wait 6 months with PSA? to get the card reslabbed costs 10$.

@@danielschmidt787 Its not common. Its a bad batch. A lot of time when quality control is off its in bunches. Like getting a booster box full of completely off centered cards. I use Beckett quite a bit and even more so now that PSA takes over 5 months for grading and you can get Beckett returns for $30 a card and I haven't had a single problem with any of the slabs.

For a grading company that specializes in quality, they sure did drop the ball on the casing aspect... Beckett Case Grading 1. Lint in casing - 9 2. Black fuzz ball in casing - 8.5 3. Cracked casing - 6.5

@@greggsmith5942 they aren’t, if you’ve watched a few grading videos you’ve probably noticed that there usually has never been this many quality issues. It’s more so probably a bad factory batch because they are known for their quality.

I put the Charizards in a percentage when adding up all grades. Love the video man! I was rooting for a 10 there, but still a good line up though! I know that the darkness ablaze zards raised up a bit in PSA 10 from about $400 to around $550ish.

I was so hyped to go for BGS and after this video, im so turned off lmao. Just cz you paid express, that just means you paid even more for the same service as everyone else except higher priority. By no means does it excuse them for lacking quality control. How do they mess up on so many things on this quantity of cards.

Good luck getting 10s from CGC...you’re pretty much handicapping your card value and not to mention not many people like to mix different grade companies in their collection. PSA will always be king

@@kiefdreams but you have to put in the perspective of the low quality recently and absurd wait lines. Sure PSA will always be top, but this is a great chance for CGC to fit themselves in the same conversation as PSA and BGS. I could care less about “handicapping” the value as I already know it’s not a 10 and I want it in a nice case that I don’t have to pay $50 + shipping and wait over half a year for my card.

Question for you brother. My family just found complete 1st edition sets of base set, jungle, fossil, team rocket, and neo genesis. Everything looks to be in good shape. Once we get these cards graded, what is the best way to sell them? Is it eBay or some auction site? Should we sell them as a complete set or individually? We also found an unopened booster box of 1st edition team Rocket. I would love your advice on the best way to go about selling

PSA cases and grades usually increase your value because an expert has looked at the card closely, put it in a top loader then cased it in plastic that means it stays as pristine as possible forever (unless you throw it round the room) and so when people look at it for value they know that it's A) Authentic B) in top condition for the grade 1 being lowest 10 being highest

Another great video! I’m in the process of preparing to grade some cards. I have a bunch of vintage cards (base sets/shadowless, jungle, fossil, etc) and a bunch of newer pack fresh ones (basically same ones in this video and a rainbow rare Charizard). I know this question comes up all the time, but is there a specific service I should go with? Beckett for the pack fresh new ones and PSA for the vintage, for example? Or does it not really matter? Any insight into your choice here would be awesome!

Yo rev try sending that HF ZARD back, i think the grade should 9.5 on that zard. Sub grades got 2-10s 1-9.5 1-8.5 if you average that grades it will com up to a 9.5. Great video👍

The maximum grade by Beckett is the weakest +0.5. If you have 10/10/10 and an 8.0 you will receive an 8.5.

Yo what up I just go by Al. But broooo... I got my 79 Charizard V back today from bgs a pristine 10 man I was so stoked! I had a card shop do it for me so I was just testing the waters out... lol and it worked!!😂 Hahaha so next up I’ve got my Charizard vmax from CP and my M Charizard ex, I once pulled a Charizard gx 150 from BS two years ago but was homeless at the time and had to sell it for 75 bucks..=\ But I’m way up top now lol I’m pullin hidden fates tins left and right whenever I see em! I’ve gotta find that shiny vault Charizard gx next! I musssttttt!!! Lol idk if it’s the Charizard fever but it’s addicting... but mainly exciting lol I’ve got my Charizard pull recorded, ever since then I’ve been shooting every one of my openings I’ve got like 3 Sd cards full but just don’t know which kind of laptop or desktop I should buy under $500 that would be perfect for editing these GoPro shots lol pokerev what would you recommend??? ...I apologize for the book lol I’m still stoked from the fact I got back a pristine 10😂

I've pulled a total of 3 Charizard's in my lifetime. 2 from 25th celebrations in the past 8 days and 1 shiny Charizard from shining fates ETB. I traded my first Charizard and the shining fates 1 for a pair of Jordan 3 black cements and the second Charizard from celebrations I sold for $85 then I traded a bunch of random ex,gx,v, and Vmax cards cards including a Celebi alt art from fusion strike for $95 total then I bought a side loading binder and I have my dream cards in there. like MEW and Mewtwo cards. plus sum older art cards from celebrations. Pokémon cards have been absolutely amazing to me in the past ;like 4 months. I love Mew and Mewtwo. I have the secret rare shiny Mew card from celebrations. all I need now is a Japanese MEW and Mewtwo tag team card to make me feel complete. i've pulled all English cards in the past but the Mew and Mewtwo tag team cards are my favorite and I love how they look in japanese. if you don't believe me I can DM proof. I'm just super happy for my luck.

Collectors need to understand PSA and BGS are VERY strict with grading ultra modern cards. Gem Mints and Pristine are very rare. Pokemon is barely over 20 years old.

Definitely should bubble wrap when using any shipping company. Even using fed express. Im surprised they don't bubble wrap them. That package def got thrown all over the place and is most likely why it got cracked.

Beckett is awful. Been saying it for a year. Their 9.5s are all PSA 9 or PSA 8 quality, and the black label is just a scam. The black labels never even look any better than a regular pristine 10. Would never use them. PSA keeps it honest.

A long time, right now with the plague going on. The normal grading takes around 5-6 months, right now. You can pay more to get it done faster (2-5 days for grading, plus shipping time) but that's ideally reserved for more expensive cards.

I have a lot of 1st edition/shadowless Pokémon cards. A lot are in NM/M condition. I’m not sure if it’s worth to get graded solely because by the time I get the cards back the market will be flooded. Thoughts?

You all need to remember, both PSA and BGS are both graded by a person. No matter what you say they both are horrible 9n stuff alot. I've graded huge money sports cards with both and your at the mercy of a individual. It is what it is. If your just going to get mad about a grade, don't grade them. It's a gamble no matter what you think it is.

Plus BGS slacking on the care of your cards bro, leaving fuzz balls and pieces of whatever it is inside the case they supply. You should contact them and dispute this with BGS and demand the fee they charge to be reimbursed.

Not every 9.5 is the same and this i known as a NON True Gem Mint vs if the centering was a 9.5 too instead of a 9 you would of had a True Gem Mint 9.5 which go for more than Non True Gem Mints which have all 9.5's or better

thats crazy i would expect a company like bcg with the rep they have to have great quality control with slabbing, pretty stupid... psa reigns supreme never had a problem with a psa slab in my life. but bcg and anyother company that uses the same type of slabs always has some kind of defect or some shit stuck inside the case. makes me feel like a giant waste of money...

They aren’t expensive until you grade them though

idk if I'd complain to beckett, but definitely mention this and even attach pictures next time you send in cards, telling them about this incident. I'm sure they're SUPER busy with the recent explosion of collectible cards so idk if it would work in your favor to "complain" per say, but maybe as an "apology" they'd rush your next order on the house or something :) Regardless - congrats on all your success lately. it's well deserved, keep on the great content!

Hey I just bought my first booster packs in 5 years and pulled a Dragapult VMAX. I am aware that this card is decent but is it a good pull?

How much was each card to get graded at BGS, I would be sending them 2 back, one with a black mark and the other cracked case not good at all , also seemed like they graded them low

How did the charizard at 9:28 only get a 9? The avg of the scores would’ve been a 38/40 which is 9.5

they miss graded the last elite trainer box charizard that had 2 (10) subgrades and also 2 (9) subgrades do the math it comes to be 9.5 i dont know why they graded it a 9 it should be 9.5
