I Graduated From Harvard 

Congratulations John! I remember the first video of your’s I watched was “How I got into Harvard” in June 2017, which must’ve been when I was entering 8th grade. I’ve always loved your videos about books and your coding projects- as a freshman/sophomore your videos exposed me to so many new ideas. Your Shakespeare project actually influenced a research project I did at school. I will be starting at Harvard this fall, and so I wanted to thank you for how much guidance so graduating seniors and I have gotten from your videos.

Congrats John. I’ve followed you since your first day at Harvard and can’t believe it’s been 4 or maybe 5 years. Best of luck for the next step in your career!

I remember when you first uploaded “How I got into Harvard” way back when, and to be honest, I was more interested into your running journey at the time as I was doing cross country back in HS myself. But then as I branched more into your channel, study tips and such, it definitely helped me a bit in choosing my own path given my lifestyle at the time. Now I’m pursuing CS at the University of Toronto. So I want to thank you for playing a small role in that I guess. Had my ups and downs, and can’t say it’s going smoothly at the moment, but seeing this, it made my day a little better seeing you graduate. Congratulations 🥳

thanks for sharing this very special moment in your life.. with all of us who listened with care as you suggested books to read while you found time to study.. It will be interesting to see where the journey takes you. I left college is 1981 with degree in math, economics. Most of my effort in college was working on the DEC-10 and the writing code on the IBM-360 (mostly Fortran which Google is not sure i am spelling correctly). The learning has just begun.. and please.. i do hope you keep sharing your reading and your life.. Like many who follow you.. .. you are amazing!

What a journey! I remember finding your videos during a time of despair during my exams in graduate school. Although I'm older, I found a lot of wisdom in your content and used your videos as something to relax with during the exam period. It helped me relax and manage anxiety a lot and my grades were way above my expectations. 4 years later, I graduated, I got a job in the field, and now work for an EU institution (my lifelong dream). Seeing your journey since before your college days. Used to wake up, see your video with a cup of cofffee and then prepare to get in a college. I am now working at EY looking for a masters soon...i know you might never read this, and that this is a old video and I will watch all of then in sequence to the lastest one, but you truly are a remarkable man and maybe you might look at all the people walking and walking and think that each one of them are leading a equally complex life as yous ( You said this remember) but that doesn't mean each one of us dust particle isnt beautiful, from dust to dust bit what a beautiful dance in the middle.

Congratulations John! You're insanely inspiring, and you have so many new doors and opportunities that have just been unlocked. After graduation I'd assume it may feel overwhelming, and you may feel lost at times; but that's for one reason, you never stop learning. As a future student in the class of 26'', do you have any advice on how to make college "last longer" and overall, more enjoyable? (as a fellow computer science major, people have been constantly telling me that my head will be stuck in books, labs, and of course my pc lol)
