I know I'm super late to your journey, but for the past week I've completely binged your content. Because of your faith, fight, and transparency I decided to apply to my local Paul Mitchell at 24 (turned 24 May 2nd). Plot twist? THIS MORNING I WAS ACCEPTED AND WILL BE IN THEIR PART TIME CLASS STARTING AUGUST 15TH!!!! I felt a little out of place because I graduated from college last year (hate what I have my degree in), but seeing how similar your story is to mine soothed my mind on that matter. Once I graduate I want to specialize in color, natural hair, and either wig installs or microlinks. Thank you for sharing your journey and congratulations on everything God is doing in your life. Please know that this is only the beginning of God demonstrating His presence to others through you. Like Matthew 5:14 says: "You are the light of the world - like a city that cannot be hidden." Thank you so much! I did the color honors program. You don’t have to be invited or anything, you just do the work that’s in your iPad and you’re considered to be “honors.” It’s basically taking pictures of your clients’ hair and telling what you did! Super simple 💛

I love this song! who's the artist? I need these good vibes. Also, I've been focusing on thanking god in moments when I feel empty and ever since I've found how much this brings me confidence, happiness, and safety, I've been noticing how good things have been happening for me. I got the epiphany yesterday to apply and become a professional hair and makeup stylist while sitting in front of the Paul Mitchell school smoking a cigarette and observing the inside while smoking a cigarette on my break from my job thats right next to it. I always believed things happen for a reason and with faith, open mindedness, and hard work, Jesus will move me in the right direction towards purpose and fulfillment.
