The common denominator of these uploads.. I had the pleasure of visiting this hotel for two weeks in 2020, right in the middle of the Covid thingy, so we were in our cells 23 hours a day, had that not been the case, there were loads of workshops and classes to attend, as well as a large library. It was my first time inside (at the age of 53) - so I had no idea what to expect. I got checked in, then assigned to a cell with another new arrival, he was much younger than me, but knew the system far better, - I was amazed that we had a TV, had a cracked screen, but it worked - he demanded a new one, it arrived 10 minutes later ! I have never seen so many different drugs for sale in my life, from weed to smack (and everything inbetween) The drone deliveries were constant throughout the night, it was non-stop, our cell was one of the ones with a removable window, we were told we would unhitch bags from visiting drones, the bags would be collected at exercise the next day, - which they were, and we would be "Rewarded" - which we were. Tiny Chinese mobile phones were everywhere, and easy to hire. In summary: The cells were disgusting, and full of cockroaches The staff were firm but fair The showers were hot, and clean The food was bloody fantastic, some of the best curries I've ever had. So dear reader, you're asking - "how did this seemingly intelligent gentleman find himself in prison with no previous convictions, and a spotlessly clean driving licence ? Hold tight, here goes. I am/was an HGV driver, would never drink and drive, it was my living - I have dependents to support. Now, - Remember - I told you this happened when the Covid thing was about - the previous day I was sneezing non stop. If you want part 2 - let me know, I don't wish bore anyone.

It is very misunderstood about filming in public. I was sat in my home at 11.45 p.m when a man I don't know walked across the road, took a camera up and pointed at me through my window. It appeared he took a picture of me, looked at it then saved or something, then he walked off. Never seen him since ? PS: I forgot to say. Was that a breach of my privacy even though he was on public land ?

Everyone gets this wrong. Of COURSE you can film people in private. I have absolutely no idea why everyone insists on saying "in public" or "in private" - that's totally irrelevant to the point. Filming is legal anywhere. Voyeurism is illegal. It doesn't matter if you have a camera or not, if you drill a hole through a toilet cubicle and peek through it, you're going to be prosecute whether or not you had a camera. Obviously. The private/public distinction is irrelevant. I mean, why are Tesco allowed to film you? Why do people take photo's in Butlins without being arrested? 😂 It's silly and everyone has to stop saying it.

I was in HMP Bristol in 1996 it was called HMP Horfield then. It's not the best place to be honest. Many people take their own lives in that place. About 1 a month on average.
