Some people truly play be ear, able to play a song after hearing it once or a few times. As a classically trained pianist who has always relied on reading sheet music to learn new songs, this utterly impresses me. Those people often don't even know how to read music. It's wild. I offered a professional musician who operated this way to teach him to read music, and he declined, worried that it might impact his abilities to play things without relying on sheet music.
@@RitardandoTheMailmanno. you're right. but they didn't say that the comment correlated with age. they said how they have gacha all over their account, which does correlate with age. and if you aren't a child playing around with Gacha, you're prolly a pedo 💀
The musician joining in with the piano player was unexpected, but their collaboration was amazing. It's always fascinating to see strangers come together to create beautiful music in public spaces.
I havent watched any other videos from this dude, but I can see the guitarist at the start just hanging out in the background of the video, so he didn't appear out of nowhere. He could've just been there before and saw a chance to do something, idk.
@@biigsmokeein italy you always have at least 3 musicians near every monument, it's not staged they're street musicians who connected bc they both liked the song
@@sckmindfrudwho said the commenter was a man? What's with some women's obsession to belittle every man they see just because they are feminazi's. You do realize that this kind of behavior and attitude will come back to bite you sooner or later right? And then you have no right to cry about it.
It's so convenient that he just happened to be walking around with his guitar and amp out and that the chick knew to look for him and move over so they were in frame when he walks in, and that you knew a song you never played so perfectly. What a lucky day!
It sucks that you probably live in a US suburb and never experienced anything like this, in Europe this is a common thing to see street performers playing music. It’s also kind of common for them to collaborate if they’re in the vicinity of each other. You can literally find thousands of videos like this on RU-vid none being staged. The guy was playing beautifully so someone decided to record.
This is a very feasible thing to happen. Some people literally only play by ear (being able to play anything based on listening to it). And the guitar guy did not join in with the same piece of music, he did something else from a much more modern song that could jam together with the one being played for some cool outcomes. If you don't believe this kind of improvisation can work... I encourage you to search "Stefon Harris Ted Talk" he's a Grammy winning jazz artist and Dean at the Manhattan School of Music (who I've known since I was 12, when he played 23 instruments)... He did such a good job of explaining how\why improv works, it's fascinating, highly recommended.
The way the man just strolled in with his guitar reminded me of those old western movies when the lone cowboy walks into the town. Beautifully played, both of you!
En Europa es normal que los jóvenes aprendan a tocar un instrumento y otros se especializan en ello, en el bel canto u otras artes que ayuden a desarrollar la belleza de su espíritu❣️🥰🤗🤩😉🌟
Y'all say this but those are the kinds of women that get taken advantage of by men the most. Most men love to ruin something good, especially if they feel inadequate. Don't trust em, I used to be too sweet and got treated badly constantly. Now I don't give a fuck, and I'm a cold mean bitch, I get treated like queen lmaoo. If they want to use us, I will use them too ❤
@@Ravioliytyou definitely aren’t wrong in this sense, but there is always an accountability in which you have to take on the quality of the person you choose to date. Trust me, there are many high quality people I know, but if you are meeting them over a dating app, or at a bar or concert, it mitigates that small talk concept and forces you into a one night stand type of relationship. But I could be wrong, maybe these are people you’ve known for a long time or you took your time carefully to pick these individuals out, but there’s always a level of accountability in everything you do, whether it makes sense, or doesn’t. Just an opinion.
@@Ravioliyt Well, all I can say is shame on the men that pervert the good hearts of good women and turn them into mean britches, they really weren't deserving of them.
I made a derogatory comment about these types of videos which are staged but by no means meant to belittle the talent. I too bought a keyboard at a garage sale and slowly started learning how to play it by simply following free youtube instructional videos. Learn just a few chords and you can do all kinds of things with them. @@garydworak5276
Usually the Fugue in D on Piano or Keyboard doesn’t do the piece justice, but the acoustics of this environment absolutely make it. It goes to show you the genius of Bach and that this piece was made for big indoor environments with lots of reverb!
@@thomasevanko8434 oh I'm not talking about those two I'm talking about the crowd actually asking for songs and not just in there phones trying to do whatever they do
That T&F is easily on of the most challenging pieces in Bach's whole catalog. I used to be a piano performance major and on my best day I wouldn't have been able to play that thing. It was written for organ , so it has to be played with both hands and feet. The meter gets very tricky because of all those 16th note triplets in the toccata. After all that mishegas, the actual fugue feels like a walk in the park.
Ver la felicidad de las personas que le piden una melodía no tiene precio,me caen lágrimas que ver algo tan sencillo kes da alegría y a la que los rodean
Ok buddy this is very good u have talent.. but nobody believes that people just keep unexpectedly showing up to play violin or sing or rock a guitar come on now keep it real your talent will get you views.
It's a win:win for him. If we do believe that his videos are true, we watch more of them and the algorithm spreads his videos. If we don't believe his videos are true, we spam the thread section with comments saying "this cool but is staged", writing comments boosts the algorithm and his videos are shown to more people repeating the cycle.
My favorite music memory ever was when my college choir visited the Handel Museum in Halle, Germany. They had a whole room of instruments you could just walk up and play…so one of the music ed majors went to the massive pipe organ and…played this Bach piece. Our tour guide was very offended.
This set up of a pianist and other musicians joining others in a mall or crowded places is a very innovative and beautiful happening to see and experience.
Maybe not. But you should always wait for the person to finish the piece they are playing. I can understand both ways though considering that eh did accept the request. So this is totally understandable.
