Thanks for this James. Please do a video on how to keep a database synced to a CSV/GoogleSheet. Also advise on a Database solution for an app that could grow commercially. Thanks Mark.
wow thats crazy. my question for you is, with the limitation of database services gone, which one would you prefere to use? i am very new into codong and i really would like to know the features i can and cant build with these databases so i can choose for myself what database to use
Excellent video. Really interesting. Do you have any video taht explains how to filter the information save in the device as a personalized data type. For example if I have a table of products with categories, and I filter by category. Thanks for your support.
Great content man thanks! Considering this issue are there alternative to FF you would recommend offering more support for backend storage possibilities?
Great stuff James! I'm trying to leverage this option within an expandable widget that holds a listview when expanded. I want it to get the data on expansion and put it into a custom datatype list which is used to populate the listview. I seem to need a widget state for this usecase, but ff doesnt have those. Any alternatives?
Well I have tried the code with FF in custom function and it looks like FF does not recognize the pocketbase packages and related functions. I guess that we should use API calls but it doubles the price in FF. Thanks in advance for your comments.
I've only seen 3 of your videos today: Bubble Revisited, 7 Awesome new ..., & this one on Hacking FlutterFlow to go beyond Firebase. But it seems that all of your applications are being hosted on Railway. So that when you refer to Native connections, instead of using API calls, am I to assume that the database is installed on your Railway server account? If I am going to use an existing Linode account or a Hetzner account the Admin function you used to choose another type of database was actually the Railway dashboard, not a FlutterFlow application setup screen?
Would there be anyway to do something like this with updating passwords through the firebase? I have a client that is wanting to update user information without using a backend but doesn't wanna pay for something like Firefoo
Great info ... But how did this relate to a third party backend that doesn't have internal live API calls like PB? Ok, you just addressed it. This is for all backend IF they have a native API. Fair enough 👍
hello great content James! please do i make an auth email and password collection separately, i am running into a lot of issues setting it up using the create item on pocketbase please help
