For anybody wondering why all the stats went negative when DF turned them up too high: Most forms of programming use something called _integer overflow_ . Essentially, this means that if a number exceeds what the program can handle, instead of completely falling apart, the program resets the offending value to its minimum value, and starts counting up from there.

Programmer input here, in most languages there is a hard coded set Int (integer value) and when you exceed said Int (in this case stats) you go backwards and due to a conflict between a negative integer and the energy bar only reading natural numbers when a negative hit it sets it to 0.
