Oh that boss fight is brutal even when you have more then sarcos. It's an achievement in its self to get as far as you do in the fight especially with sarcos.

If anyone wants a safe start not on ocean biome then you can do what I always did - sw bog biome teleport which is right above bog beatdown, its very safe apart from when you leave the the giant metal structures or bug swarms which spawn around

for gen 2 I would recommend the reaper. You don't need tames at the start since you can fly. You can tame a reaper at lvl 1 using raasclarks method and having them follow you into acid. X Reapers are too good at gen 2 missions able to beat basically any brute mission and farm excess amounts of loot and hexagons. Plus the final fight is a cakewalk with reapers. I know most people will expect the shadowmane so I think it would be a pleasant surprise to mix it up a bit. as always great content rampy

When I played Gen1 I had that same problem, if you knockout a dino and start taming it and you teleport out of the biome, the creature will fall under the mesh very far. I discovered it with creature finder mod I knocked out a Rock Elemental and went out of the biome then came back to it and it wasn’t there so I searched with Creature Finder and it was tamed but fell under the mesh too far, so that’s your case probably

The part your were on when you died was easy part, You needed to use wing suit, 100s of energy brews and med brews the tames need atleast 22k health rest in melee. Im a Veteran of Gen 1, 9500 hours of Ark most of that on PvP on Gen 1.

please next time, Gen 2 with just Ferox's Means, before you go to any activity, you need to feed your Ferox army a BUNCH of element, which isnt really a problem on Gen2 could be fun, and since Gen2 Missions are not as horrible as Gen 1 missions, this could be actually unironically be fun

i tried taming a bary in bog biome and rushed to the ocean biome to farm up some fish meat for it. had tame tracker enabled and i had to watch as it descended into the void. goodbye 150 bary.

they nerfed the railgun, no other viable option exist, they attempt to make other options almost as good, they didn't actually. Now they're reducing heavy spawns. It feels better, downing 5 simultaneously spawning BTs and 7 chargers with old RG, than it does killing 400 small swarm mobs. It's objectively worse now than it was day 1 with the exception of viable servers. They could've simply kept the rail gun the same, nerfed the sheild pack and upped bug spawns. Clearly bots pose their tier of difficulty, being much tougher than bugs.
