The word hell there is sheol. Meaning the grave or realm of the dead. David was a OT believer so he was referring to Abrahams bosom which was a region in the grave. Luke 16 : 22 - 31, JESUS explains the different regions at that time and how believers and unbelievers were separated. OT saints were not in heaven yet because CHRIST hadn't died yet, descended into the innermost parts of the earth, covered the OT saints in HIS blood, risen from the dead, ascended to the heavens to cleanse it with HIS blood and taking the OT saints with HIM. Death and sheol- hell, the region that has unbelievers in it will be thrown into the lake of fire, Revelation 20:14. The NT uses the word hades which is the same as OT sheol. There is also a region where the angels who fell in Genesis 6 are which is called tartaroo or tartarus. That's the deep abyss of hell. Gehenna is used for hell in Matthew 10 : 28 fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul, but rather fear HIM which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. So David wasn't referring to Gehenna, the region where unbelievers were. He was referring to the grave at that time according to the revelation he received. We know no that the final judgement involves being separated from GOD forever for unbelievers, 2 Thess. 1 : 8-10. But for the believers, to be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD, 2 Corinthians 5 : 6. So GOD was with him because he is a believer and it was a dream, not his eternal reality. I was 5 years of chronic illness! I was Semi Housebound, lost my health, job, finances and my fiance left me. I couldn't even look at electronic screen for 5 minutes, or hold a 10-minute conversation. But God did an amazing work. Brother Marcus in March 2012 i went to sleep and woke up in Hell. I was there for a short time in Earth time, but in the supernatural realm it felt like eternity. Immediately i was naked, there was a mirror in front of me and i saw my shame, and horn and tumors started appearing on my face. The beauty God gives all women was gone. I was ugly in Hell. I remember i felt this place was cruel and eternal theirs no going back. It’s gray and your constantly thirsty. I was surrounded by demons oppressing me and covering my mouth with their hands so i wouldn’t shout “Jesus have mercy on me.” In Hell my greatest torment was not that i was there lonely, in shame and ugly with demons making fun of me. My Greatest Torment was that I Missed Jesus. 😭😭 I miss His beautiful presence and mercy. Oh how i love Jesus my beautiful Saviour who gives us tons of chances here on Earth. I thank God for this experience because now i know never to make men the center of my life.

I have a weird angle on this. I too have anxiety, some depression. I’ve prayed for years for it to leave, but failed to realize it might be a gift. My anxieties have saved me throughout my life from worse things. My anxiety tells me something is wrong or I’m not living right. Not always but sometimes. God sometimes gives us afflictions so we rely heavier on him. Think of it that way. It cannot harm you!!! I don’t claim the be a holy genius, but that is something I gathered from my experiences. Example. I used to be an alcoholic. When I was hungover I’d get anxiety so bad I couldn’t leave the house. It was terror every hour of the day. That anxiety pushed me to sobriety and the fear I felt during that time has saved me from ever revisiting alcohol. I still have anxiety but not like that. Over the Last year I’ve still had bouts of it, but the more I rely on God, and push through, the stronger my foundation gets. Thought I’d share.it’s not how I’d choose to get a firm foundation, but he knows best I suppose.

I converted out of Islam about 2 months ago. My Dad basically wants nothing to do with me now. It’s so hard to get brainwashed Muslims to see the truth but I’m so glad we were able to. All love here ❤️

This was super encouraging... reminds me that God is with me despite my failure. I’m definitely struggling with lust and trying to avoid fornication(failed yesterday after months of being celibate)..often I feel guilty.. other times I don’t. I was going through the same thing I was beating my self up so bad to the point I felt myself pulling away from God and what God told me was “stop being so hard on yourself your doing good! Remember the more you doubt yourself is the more you lose sight of me” and it clicked! We doubt ourselves so much we tend to forget what Jesus did for us on that cross we just have to get back up and pick up our cross and continue to keep moving forward! Will we fall many times? God showed me I was idolizing him and was about roll back into my old life of sin because he was trying to walk with Jesus but he wasn't leting the spirit change him. So he was being ofput by my walk. Then God is telling me he is separating us. Holy Spirit told me the night he took his ring off and gave when proverbs 5:5-23 to let me know what he was up to. God is so good.
I believe our time is up and we who have been following the Lord are having anything that is between us and the Lord removed. God is about to reinvent his people. This world is passing away. We are at the end.

Such that haven’t been witnessed to this capacity since right after the death of Christ. When someone was healed by Peter’s shadow alone. Or when handkerchiefs that Paul touched were used to heal disease or casts out demons. Merely by his anointing. 🙌🏾 The power of God is beginning to move in a mighty way. Brother Marcus, when you tell people "even though lay your bed in hell, I am with you", they will think that it's okay to sin and no matter what God is still going to accept them. This is not the case. If you reject God and make your bed in hell that is where you will be. I say this out of love not hate or controversy. I hope you receive it.
