As long as you keep saying “Yes” to the short (regional) runs, all you can hope for is $850/week. If you agree to a couple short loads, you should tell your dispatcher you want to be rewarded by getting a long run thereafter. You’re running day cab miles as a Lease Operator!

Hello great videos Can I ask, when you dropping a trailer do you put your paperwork into goods in office,. Also when collecting the trailer, are told the trailer number before you arrive at pick up point, also how do you get the paperwork for the load from the goods out office or is it placed in the trailer. More questions, driving hours How many hours per day are you allowed to drive, and gen do you take a break, and what is your daily rest period (in UK we can drive for 10 hours per day on 3 days, after 4.5 hours of driving we need to take a 45 minutes break, daily rest period is 11 hours but can be reduced 2 x week to 9 hours, weekly rest is 45 hours but must be taken in 1 period, we can drive a maximin of 6 days per week

$1.81 is way too low…..u gotta tell the dispatchers to start getting u something better…..i have been driving for 13 years and i also dispatch……lately i been getting nothing but $4-$5-$6 and $7 per mile loads anywhere from 700 to 1500 miles ….we should do a interview and i will show u proof so that way u can tell ur dispatcher to start negotiating better
