Browski I feel bad saying this: but the math aint mathing, Chance of wasting skill reset (1 point goes to 3rd skill) is....: - if you max skills 1&2 first, you have a 50/50 chance of winning/loosing every roll, for 4 potential rolls until win -if you leave all skills unlocked, you have the chance every roll to get 3rd skill (25%) or 1-2-4 (win, 75% chance), for 12 potential rolls until win. SUMMARY: WAY 1, is .25 exponent 4, which is 0.003 WAY 2 is .75 exponent 12 (or less, if skill n4 goes to 5 and then you lock) which is 0.03 or less. AKA your way (1) is 10 times riskier than way 2..

You’re all wrong, this math and testing has been done many times before and it is actually better to max the first two skills first, very slightly.

@@pmin5554 Absolutely wrong. Who did this alleged testing? The first 4 tries your chances will be 75% to NOT get the skill you don't want. After you fill one of the first two skills your chances will be 67% to NOT get the skill you don't want. If you end up filling the first two skills then your odds are 50% for the remainder of tries left. To put it another way, No matter what you are going to roll the dice 16 times and 4 of them MUST NOT be the skill you don't want. If you fill the first two skills you'll be down to 8 rolls, where 4 of them MUST NOT be the skill you don't want. It's as simple as that. For 12 rolls, 4 rolls have a chance of 25% of landing on the final skill, 25% chance of landing on the wrong skill, and 50% chance of a free try. That's what you're giving up in the grand scheme of things, free rolls that don't matter the outcome.

Lowkey, I do think Liu/Alex is superior to the Liu/Gorgo as an open field march, the debuff on Alex is better, it's way faster and It doesn't need to skill cicle to deal lots of damage

By the way im pretty sure you should NOT lock the first 2 skills if you wanna go for 5515. If you do so, you MUST hope for 4 upgrades consecutive on the 4th skill. Mathematically it would be 1/2^4 which is 1 out of 16 possible chances ( 6,25% ). If you leave all unlocked, in the case you hit 1115 (for example) you can lock the skill at the second and you get 5515 granted. I got my Gorgo 5525 at first reset in this way. I know its not perfect but i wasted only 1 reset!

It does matter guys… because you have to count all probabilities between XX15 as your go to. Because you can lock first two skills. All youtube maths are wrong because they dont count XX15 configurations.

there is a cycle for the skills of around 4 seconds. That's why my Nebu is 5515, Joan prime 5125 and artemisia 5513. without skill resets. Whenever you hit the skill you want, you go back, enter again, and try the 4 secs again. Not scientific testing, but it's working for me. Maybe someone can do a real test.

@@pmin5554 Sometimes, the rule I explained, is difficult to be 100% correct, due to the internal timing on the game engine. But I have 95% accuracy. Joan now is 5325 (1 skill off when i was trying the 5115). Arty I'm not investing in her, because Boudica is on the bench right now. So I don't need her. Thanks for the commentary

If you unlock all the skills at the beginning you'll have %25 percent to hit for each but, if you lock the first and second as you progress you decrease the odds to %50 while working on 3th and 4th skills. In short, distribute the chances at the beginning then lock 3 & 4th as you're done

Next time you try to 5515, you should have all skills unlocked. Try to get last skill to 5 without upgrading the 3rd skill. If you hit that you lock your 3rd skill and you are done.

5515 for the last 4 skill points its 6.25% chance to get 0:4 distribution. thats 1 in 16. so 19 is relatively expectable.

Tip, your odds are better opening up all four skills when upgrading if you're trying to keep only 3 of them. You'll have 16 chances to fill the final one or two skills upon which you can block the skill you don't want after. If you wait until you fill the first couple skills you'll be down to 8 tries when you try to fill the final one by luck.

I just saw that you tried what I was talking about but quit lol. Just for reference, you have 3/4 chance to NOT get the skill you don't want. If you fill one of the first two skills your chances are still better than 50% because it'll be 2/3 chance to NOT get the skill you don't want.

5:56 at this point. I’d just spend the 75 sculptures to try and get the last skill to 5 because thats what I ended up doing for Joan Prime. And I got the last skill to 5. 5525 is better than scraping it for you not get 5515 ever lol

Maybe consider not skill locking. When all 4 positions are open 25% in wrong spot. 3 positions are open 33 1/3 in wrong spot. When 2 spots 50% in wrong spot. AND if lucky enough to get the last position to 5, then skill lock to finish position 1 & 2. Just something to think about - Also congrats on 5515 😅
