I would have loved to had someone like you raise my son. He has a great fun joking personality despite his too serious dad...guess it's born into ya thank God 😊 love the father son stuff and I've seen Jason laughing at you before 😅
The child insisting you take the 3 quarters was very touching. It really matters to the little ones when the home is chaos. You removed a bunch of stress off those little shoulders.
I've had to clean a toilet this bad before... I had a loved one who was older and was taking meds that affected his ability to make it to the bathroom on time. In his case it was fresh accidents. I used tips I learned from you to clean his bathroom. He recently passed and left me his house and everything he owned. I wasn't happy at the time that I was cleaning his home and caring for him. It was hard to care for someone through such a debilitating time but now in hind sight I am so glad that I was there for him in his time of need because he didn't have anyone else, and I just think of him being stuck alone ashamed and unable to clean up the mess. His family had written him off and weren't there for him except for one of his sisters. I know that in our situation we would have been very thankful for someone like you coming in and helping people the way you do. I think it's amazing that you care so much about people in need.
I was the one who came into my dad's place (after work) and cleaned up after him (the whole bathroom issue) and made a meal every day for a year and a half. It was exhausting, and at times I resented him. I know that sounds awful. However, I am so thankful I had that time with him. I'm not his only child, just the only one there to help him, and his siblings did nothing. So, I have immense appreciation, sympathy, and understanding for all you did, your frustration, and your showing of love.
My favorite so far has been "Just look at him, standing there with his teeth in his mouth, like he owns something." I had to stop what I was doing and write it down so I could laugh about it again later. 🤣
Especially when in almost the next sentence he says: this room was so bad I would not allow Jason to go anywhere near it (like with the most recent black mold one).
I will never understand why contractors install toilets so close to walls! They must never clean bathrooms themselves. You did a great job on that bathroom.
Exactly! Same with toilet design, though I’m finally seeing skirted toilets that are easier to clean. If bathrooms were designed by people who have to clean them, they’d be completely waterproof, have a drain in the floor, and you’d be able to hose the entire thing down. That’s been my dream. 😃
@@anxylum I totally agree with you. In some countries floor drain is common practice. 'Wet rooms' are becoming more common in the United States, but not fast enough.
Sorry folks if that toilet offended you, but as someone who has been a nursing home housekeeper, I can honestly tell you that toilet is no worse than ones I cleaned every single day at a time when no one wore masks unless they were trick or treating or performing surgery. Hospital housekeepers also see messes like this. Life can be very messy, we clean it up. Thanks for helping these people!
Thank you! Y'all are some of the hardest workers in the world and you don't get enough credit. I was taught to clean my own sink & toilet at 10 y/o. Soft scrub, gloves, and a scrub sponge. An allowance is earned. Be well. Be safe.
I really do miss being a nursing home housekeeper. It was one of my favorite jobs despite the messes that had to be cleaned. Unfortunately cuz health issues I cannot do that type of work anymore. I hope that I made even a small positive impact in people's lives in their time of need.
I came across the video of you in the hazmat suit cleaning ( gag) the BIO bathroom. I got up, cleaned my refrigerator out, scrubbed my toilet, threw away a couple empty 12 pack coke boxes. Thanks alot!! Lol, then when I got back on I watched this video and subscribed. Love your wicked sense of humour. Great incentive to remind us how easy it is if we let things go, what can happen.
I rekon get in first, just move out and don’t tell em you’ve moved to a nursing home for ex hippies! It’s been my dream to start one myself so I’m always the boss.. All weirdos welcome ❤
what I love about this guy: *the fact that he cleans these houses for free (accept for this particular 75 cent gig, lol) *the fact that this soothes my inner clean freak/germ freak *and most of all, his very dry, very sarcastic, very deadpan sense of humor. everything from how he tells the dirt or whatever to "suck it", to how he pretends to talk shit about his son, to how he even makes comments to the audience like in this video when he suggests that people who don't subscribe might be devil worshippers. and then how he throws in the occasional cheesy phrase or dad joke to lighten things up a bit
The fact that your son dives into those messes with you tells us everything about his level of emotional damage 😂😉. If it was serious he would never be by your side. My dad was a custodian for 35 years. He served our school district until he had a heart attack at the school. He made such an impact on people here through teasing and joking with the kids that we held his funeral in the school gymnasium because about a thousand people came to say their farewell. We live in a town with only 6000 people. His joking and care forged life long friendships and appreciation.
My dad used to do that. If he found me lying on the floor he would say "what's this big piece of thrash?" I remember him once trying to sweep me up. I found it very funny.
I tell you what, you mentioned people having a problem with you teasing with your son. I find it refreshing. I chuckled every time (that's scum bag 😆). I lost my daughter in October. Her and I laughed together like I never laugh with anyone else. You all remind me of us. Adult children are so fun. The best, in fact. So, I THANK you for incorporating this in an already satisfying video for me ❤️
Tara, the best thing anyone ever told me when my big brother died came from a Lakota spiritual leader, who said, "We grow like the sassafras trees, which grow all together in the forest. They send out runner roots, from which new trees grow. If you cut one down you no longer see the top of the tree. But the roots Still nourish and sustain the other trees around it. In this way. The person you lost. It's not gone but a living part of who you are. And so sometime, you will be doing something, and hear that person's voice in your head, in your heart -- as if they were right there with you saying something funny, or guiding you. And that's because part of them has become a living part of you." Someday, I hope you are able to listen for, and hear your daughter's living laugh, the reply she would make, the remark that makes you snort your tea. Peace be with you🙏
I personally immediately knew you had a great relationship with your son by all the teasing and holding up of a certain finger between the two of you. You did something right as a parent! And yes, I agree you are hilarious.
Cannot believe people don't realize you are joking when you make fun of your son. It's so damn funny! You can see the love there; you're a fun family. Keep up the good work. I love your videos. You have motivated me to start decluttering and cleaning my house. Blessings to you all!
My father passed away in the first week of December 2022. Not only did he leave a huge mess financially, he left behind every piece of mail, paperwork and furniture since the early 1980s. He lives an hour and a half from me. I have had to work full time in addition to driving to his hoarded cat infested home. Your videos inspire me to try and keep an objective of getting the home back to the way it was originally. Unfortunately, the bank will take over the home. However, out of respect for him and for the fact that I am finally "allowed" to clean, I am enjoying the process.
Dude, his son Jason can do a Backflip from stand! INTO A SHOPPING CART! AND he does a crazy kick from WITHIN the cart without shifting aside or toppling over and not only hit the milk and not the lady or hurt himself (presumably), but also gives the most deadass one liner a TV movie villain from the 90s could not even come up with. WTF!? This is gold! (But seriously, Jason needs some help my man. This is straight up manic behavior and should be treated/punished, but damn was that funny to listen to)
I found this channel after binging all of Auriikaterinas youtube channel and was not prepared for the extremely dry humour and very technical cleaning tips but i love it so much. These homes are crazy and I love watching you guys take on the challenge and see the transformation! Please more of these videos :-) Greetings from Germany
I love listening to all your Shenanigans🤣🤣🤣 My grandson is autistic and says he wants to be a nighttime Janitor or someone who cleans Office buildings that way he won't be around people and noise, I showed him your videos and thought you are great. New Subscriber here! You have a great sense of humor 🤣🤣🤣 Much love from Washington state ❤️
My son and I have autism too. I enjoy cleaning quite a bit, but for some reason I can't clean poop, I just can't. Anyhoo, you are doing wonderful things and I have the greatest respect for you! This is the only thing I can watch right now, because my father living with me passed away in my home 4 days ago after a long illness. So sad, and right now, your content is a good distraction when I need to prevent a panic attack. Thanks!
@@claireryan8074 Oh I am so terribly sorry to hear that. It is such a hard thing to go through, I wish and pray for all the strength you and your family need. I am still also watching carpet cleaning, but it is getting better.
Heartbreaking hearing about you losing or on the brink of losing loved ones. Lost my dad 8 years ago this July on the day that hospice care brought the bed to my parents' home. He was himself until that very day, and thankfully, he passed peacefully with all of us surrounding him, holding his hands, telling him we loved him. In retrospect, I'm so thankful he didn't suffer. But it's still like it happened yesterday. I heard a saying a while back that grief is just love with nowhere to go. For some reason, it helped me. So, I pass it on hoping it will help anyone who bothers to read this. Cry when it helps and laugh when you remember any good times. ❤🙏
If I joked with people like this, they would take me one hundred percent seriously. Could never get by with it. So I stuffed my sarcastic humor deep down, so much so that I forgot I had this part of myself until I came to this channel and listened. Makes me happy.
I did not choose a name for my son ahead of his birth. While in the hospital with him I was looking at a calendar and realized the next 5 months starting with July spelled out Jason. I took a Jason home with me 5 days later. Love your videos and your common sense.💚
5 days 😮 wow I wasn’t even allowed to sleep in a bed at the hospital the night after I had my son. They kept him so “I STAYED” I slept in a chair not even next to him just in a room . No way I was leaving him there, no way in hellllloooo 😂.
Well, a son born in June or July it is sure a J-son. OK, women can make Dad jokes, too. Just realized my cousins son is born in July and also called Jason (not a usual name here in Germany).
I find myself binge watching your videos now. Watching them all right in their FACES. What gets me is that underneath the layers and layers of chaos (to us) you can see previous happier times, buried. The pretty trinkets, family photos...it's like the person has buried their grief and pain along with the good stuff. You have helped bring that back to the surface, and it's a wonderful thing you do. In another video you said when you go into a room you can see the puzzle and how to 'fix' that puzzle. THAT'S EXACTLY ME! Finally, I have a word for what I see in a disordered room. Thank you!
The fact that you do all this with a bad back is just amazing, really. I am glad you know your limits and didn't push it too hard. Also, the 75 cents? Adorable!
The final fantasy reference right at the start sent me. Also, the section from 16:35 where you clean the books out and pile them neatly back into the corner has got to be like... the most accomplished and satisfied I have ever felt by doing absolutely nothing. I hope some of this feeling can be successfully transferred to you through this comment.
I appreciate how you treated their toys and books. Some people in that kind of an environment would have just thrown everything away. Thank you for respecting that family! Fun to see you work SO hard and accomplish so much!
"They'd just sealed it up like a Final Fantasy god. Until I came along, to unlock its powers for my own." Supreme depression has gripped me in a vice, refuses to let me go, yet this line managed to make me laugh.
That was great, she had to pay you! What a precious little one she is. She’s being raised right with her amazing little heart of gold. ❤ Another job well done. Thanks for sharing!❤
My dad has always teased my siblings and I like you do. And we do the same back! This year I put, "To the Bane of my Existence" on his Christmas gift. It's how we show love!
HAH! God I love your dry humor -- I was cackling, I tell ya, like some deranged Queen of the Dark Forest! 🤣🤣🤣Jason was there breathin your air... lord! I ADORE that you and your kids are that close that you guys tease each other. And what a fantastic role model... to show your kids that serving your community like this a noble and cool thing to do. (Hell I admit it---I'd walk in a few of the places you've gone, say "Nope, this is where the devil spawns," turn tail and run like the coward I am!) 🙏God bless you and your family. Doin crap so many of us won't. Blessings from the badass evergreen state, Washington! 💛🖤💛
Couldn't agree more, I was cracking up. My dad was super abusive, and yet would always talk to other people as if he loved and cherished us and always wanted to brag about our talents. I think if this gent really hated Jason, he wouldn't include him in videos and certainly would not out himself and his true feeling to the world. He'd pretend everything is good and mistreat Jason behind the scenes. So I think it's all just whack sarcastic humour, and I am all here for it.
I was today old when I discovered there is such a thing as a percentage ruler! I now officially have one, stolen direct from Midwest Magic. Cheers and thanks once again for being such an awesome bloke.
"this is the world" LOL...I'm so glad I found your channel! I have begun listening while I work. I may not be able to watch them minute by minute but you provide a much-needed service to the world, besides cleaning and helping people. You provide laughter!
I have to watch it again, I started laughing so hard at your abuse of scrub daddy that I totally lost track of your other nuggets of wisdom. And I will just admit that one split second I thought wow, Jason did a backflip into that ladies cart!😂
My son is ADHD and I suspect also Aspergers (although that has never been formally diagnosed). He has a very similar sense of humour to you. Some people don’t understand it and are easily offended by it, but I love it!
Not to be the word police or anything but, just so you know, “Aspergers” isn’t really vocabulary a lot of the autistic community likes to use anymore. Without going into too much detail, basically, “Aspergers” is an outdated diagnosis with roots in Nazi eugenics. “Aspergers” is now just regular old ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). There is no difference in “Aspergers” and autism.
I’m watching on a Sunday evening in Melbourne Australia. I find your videos so satisfying. You and your son are amazing doing what you do for others, especially with bad backs. Hope you feel better from your panic attack.
This is awesome, and I love watching you tackle these nasty messes. The saddest thing about this home to me is that there were obviously small children playing in that filth at some point.
I showed my 12 year old granddaughter one of your videos and now she's hooked. We laugh so hard at the things you say about Jason. We both get the humor. She's Team Jason!
Your process and assembly line of cleaning makes absolute sense. Relationship you share with your son is true love. Thank you for sharing your cleaning jobs!
Imagine the satisfying dirty water dumps if you cleaned the upholstery! Of course, it would take 40 days and 40 nights and 5 cleaning machines, but you know. The little girl giving you 75 cents is so cute! Precious little soul!
I admire what you are doing for people. At first, I was shocked at the things you said about your son, but soon realized it was your whacky sense of humour. If we all did something to help others, it would be a better world.
I love your tongue in cheek humor. I'm surrounded by people who don't get that type of humor. Feels a little confining, but I accommodate their feelings when I absolutely need to.😸.
Good morning Sir, I can give you only my deeply respect, that you do volontairely such a hard job. It's a pleasure to see the cleaning progress, even we know you need hours and hours to clean such a place. Greatings from your German fan 👍 🇺🇸 🇩🇪.
I was a single mom from the time my boys were 15 and 12, and your interactions with the kids and descriptions have me in tears of laughter half the time. We're one of those families who harass one another constantly, too. I swear I watch these more for the commentary even than for the cleaning. #HereForTheSpinkicks
You and your son did a great job. Family must be so appreciative. Little girl wanting to pay you 75 cents. So sweet of her. As always, I love your sense of humor! God bless!
"Half a bowl of filth" LOL, I love your obvious love for your son and the hard work ethic you've instilled in him. It's nice to see a good relationship between a Dad and his Jason ❤️
This video provided me mucho comic relief, and snapped me out of my usual grief stricken traumatized state! Thank you! I’ll be back for the laughs & philanthropic inspiration!
I bought a nice double-sided razor scraper, and there were about 40 fairly hard plastic blades, as well as metal razor blades. Very useful for hardwood floors. doesn't scratch!
I love the way you clean up stuff. I'm happy that you record, all the cleaning. I'm close to being hoarder. You're recording helps me to strength, my life, to clean my house.
You’re videos always make me smile and giggle on Sunday mornings! Thank you for helping this family. Also, a huge thank you for helping the mother from Cleaning with Barbie! That was very generous of you. You’re help changing peoples’ lives one house at a time! ❤️ BTW, ignore the Debbie downers. They just wish they had a relationship with their child like you have with Jason!
As a fellow member of the bad back brigade, the minute you sat on the couch to pick up stuff off the floor I thought to myself “bad back!” You and Jason are obviously good people. Great clean up 😊
When you said “ I’m pretty sure I saw a monster under there” I lost it🤣🤣. Love your sense of humor and thank you for NOT playing music! Great job guys.
extreme cleaning services are going to be in demand in the near future, based on demographics. Seriously, not a lot of older people are going to be able to afford in-home care or other services.
Ive been a housekeeper over 30 years, I’ve never done this type of cleaning. I clean pretty much bare bones rooms. So I really appreciate seeing you do theses filthy rooms. Here’s a tip, get a stick vac made by shark, you’ll never go back to a broom or any other type of vacuum. Great job buddy! At least your son doesn’t mind cleaning so gotta give him that much!!
I think Jason is a pretty good guy. He is right there with you helping these folks get there homes and life’s back! God bless you guys!!! Keep on doing this!
Just stumbled on your channel because i enjoy watching order being restored to a place of chaos. I appreciate the dry humour too! It's an honourable thing that you and your son do, despite having health problems of your own. I've subscribed. Now im going to binge-watch everything on your channel 😂
You are a special person. I do enjoy you talking during your videos I can't help but laugh every time you say something about your son. The little girl was so sweet to offer you the money. And I wouldn't have moved that couch either with a bad back.
Here to say, I am a devil worshiper and I am also subscribing! Why not both? Very happy to have found this wholesome channel. Hope your life is filled with the same good vibes you put out there.
