Lily is one of those youtubers that is just so real and not fake in the slightest. She is so relatable and inspiring, and she and georgia are one of the only youtubers ive watched for like 3 years straight. Honestly you deserve the world and your vids brighten up my day. You are such a great role model and you are literally so genuine and kind to everyone! She always puts everyone's happiness infront of her own and yet manages to stay happy & healthy and post constently for all of us and i admire that so much. I hope you are feeling a lot better after your surgery!! You are so amazing lilyyyy
“Could I put this in a blender?” “You probably could” 😂 You bf is honestly the sweetest, and he’s probably right it takes longer to get better if you eat hard foods at the start as it keeps opening the wound/s rather than letting it heal up. Go Jake 👌🏼 Hope you’re better by now 💕
Hey, just wanted to say you are one of the most kind and genuine youtubers I've ever watched and your videos always make me so happy. I remember watching your videos throughout lockdown and they constantly brightened my day. Please keep creating such amazing content but remember to put yourself first :)
I remember getting my tonsils out, I was 8 and I had a terrible reaction to the anaesthetic… But after having tonsillitis 27 times it was worth it! Hope you get better soon! 🥰 xx
@@lilygrace5924 wow thanks for taking your time to reply to my comment! I just wanted to say that you feel like an older sister to me and I love watching your videos every week! 🥰
Hey Lily, I am a 12yr girl, I have started high school very good but I have some friend issues. I loves your videos because they lighten up my day. I am getting surgery on my mouth soon and this is my first surgery ever. I have to get 2 of my wisdom teeth out, by the surgeon cutting my gums open and taking them out. I also have to get chains on 2 other teeth to pull them down. They do this by opening the gums, attaching the chain to the tooth in my gums, then the teeth get pulled down and then I have to get the chains off 10 days later and get brackets put on them. I already have braces right now but I am so nervous and I really wanted to tell you because I love your channel and I really want to meet you because I am also in NSW. I hope hear from you soon and I am one of your biggest fans.
I love how she is a youtuber that shows what really happens in life. And it was also really funny when she started talking like stich when she said, that got me cracking up.
hiii! ur so gorgeous but incase u didnt know getting ur tonsils out can actual change the pitch and depth and the general sound of ur voice, for some people it only happens for the first few days after the surgery but for some people its more of a perminant thing! ur voice does sound a bit different but its absolutely gorgeous!!!
An adult tonsillectomy sucks; I had mine out a couple of years ago. Pre surgery: I was fine and the kids getting theirs out at the same time weren’t. After surgery: it was the opposite way around 😖
When I got my tonsils out I could only say 1 word at a time and then I had to wait like 10 seconds before I could say another word so my voice changed and it was so uncomfortable to talk. I also the only thing I could eat was jelly and my siblings got jealous when I got to have ice cream and jelly for tea. meanwhile they were having veggies! :)
i had my tonsils removed when i was 12 and the first thing i said when i woke up was “is that medicine? where’s my mum?” i was also in a room full of kids and i was not happy but they shared food so it was good. i had tonsillitis every 4 months.
Lilly I feel your pain it’s horrible. I had my tonsils out at the end of November last year after having tonsillitis constantly for the whole year. It was definitely the worst pain I’ve ever been in but it’s totally worth it. Hope you’re recovering well ❤️
I’ve gotten my tonsils removed. I totally know how you are feeling. I had an allergic reaction to the codeine the doctors gave me. I know exactly what it feels like to eat that piece of toast after ten days. I hope you are feeling a lot better Lily!
I got my tonsils removed when I was four because they were so big I couldn’t breathe properly haha. I don’t remember much but eating watermelon and ice cream in the hospital tbh. I love your videos and hope you feel better soon! 💕 💕
You are so beautiful lily 🤍🤍 You are such an inspiration, I absolutely love watching your videos, it makes my week 😁 and I hope you recover very soon❤❤. But can we just talk about how beautiful and kind Jake is 🥰😍😍!!!!! We are all sending our love❤❤ And did anyone else think lily sounded like a helium balloon after LMAooo
Ilysm and when I was listening to your voice I never realized that your voice changed and I think it’s a symptom after the surgery idk but one of my guy friends got his tonsils taken out at the age of 8. But I hope you get even better than you are in the video❤️
lily I hope you feel better soon you are so amazing and you make my day when you post your vids the are so uplifting and you are and amazing role model x
I got my tonsils removed in May of 2020 when Australia just got out of lockdown and bc my tonsils were SO inflamed I couldn’t speak for the first 2 days after the removal bc it hurt too much I would cry when I was forced to talk at the hospital. U are doing great! Luv u Lily ❤️
I don't usually bother with youtube sponsors etc, but I've been wanting to try native deodorant so I literally paused the video to go and buy it and use your code, thanks so much for the discount!
once again my notifications has failed me and I didn't see ur vid till a day later😭🙏 but I do love your videos so much they give me a lot of joy, even if this one wasn't as fun of an experience for you❤
i got my tonsils removed at the age of 9 because i got tonsilitis all the timee. the only part that i remember being very hard was in the hospital the day after and not being able to swallow very well for about 1-2 weeks
My brother got his tonsils out when he was 5 or 6 and all he ate for literally nearly a month was ice cream, soup, mini gingerbread in milk and cereal. It was tough for him to go through and it was tough for me to watch him go trough as his twin sister. We are both now 13 and he said it was one of the best things he did for his health. It will suck in the moment but in the long run you will probably be happy that you did it when you did.
When I had mine back when I was 16. I couldn't talk for 2 days, and it took me 3 weeks to eat something that resembled food again. Try Wisdom teeth removal, all 4 out plus arthrosentisis; 3 weeks recovery for that.
hope you are feeling better. i had my tonsils out when i was 6 because mine were huge. the ENT said they were like golf balls and that was when i was well! i found things like toast and crisps helped after my surgery (i was actually given toast when i got back on the ward) it helps scrape the gunk away. but i did then have chips and a choc ice after. but i do remember the first thing i asked for when i woke up was my toy cat but didnt say toy so the nurse thought i wanted a real cat :D and was like we dont allow cats in here it wasnt till my mum came in with my toy that she realised it was a toy :D
If it makes you feel any better I didn’t eat solid food for about a month after getting my tonsils out and also missed my last ever school disco agh haha nah you soldiered through and that’s all that matters! 💗💗
you poor thing i havent't gotten mine removed but i've from friends that its painful i hope you're ok love you so much ur vids are amazing and im aussie too and i can just relate to everything u say get better soon xxx
i can relate to being sick for months without knowing, and it sucks! i found out i had whooping cough, its very contagious and can be very harmful to people at risk. i assumed my symptoms were allergies, and they were so mild i forgot about them. i then went to school for months, went on camp, slept in a room with loads of other people for a few nights and did all this strenuous sport. i was very sick afterwards so i went to the doctor and it turns out i had whooping cough! luckily it seems no one caught it and afterwards we had to quarantine for a bit. i was prepared for COVID before it even started 😌
For me it never hurted me at all. AS the anesthesia wears off the meds given by the docs are so fuckn strong you just can't feel any pain. I got 6 stitches and they were not those which get diluted thats why i just felt a lil discomfort as my tongue touches the thread and its awful
i got my tonsles out when i was like 1 or 2 bc i couldnt breath 💀 and im so happy i was young and dont rember it bc i would have been scared as shit and yeah ur so strong !! ❤
I just relived my own adult experience of recovering from a tonsilectomy... actually the worst time in my life and I lived alone at the time :( I was told to eat hard foods as soon as I could because it would help the area heal as the roughness would help the pus and bacteria to be broken up. Maybe the doc just wanted me to be in pain though....
When I got my tonsils out my recovery was horrible. I had the largest tonsils you can have so that made it worse. I had to have my uvula, adenoids and tonsils out. I couldn’t eat for a week after and then I ended up having a after bleed meaning I was back in the hospital for a few days.
made me remember when I got my tonsils taken out like 4-5 years ago and I was vomiting blood for 2 days because they didn't sew my throat up properly. 💀
