I think this is your most "real" video about how life on the AT can be when things aren't the best case scenario. Stay safe❤

Your videos are my “Guilty Pleasure” on RU-vid. I cannot hike anymore due to a weird neurological disorder. I LOVE how fricken good you are! You’re mileage is crazy, and your organization is awesome. I look forward to your videos every day. Be safe and hike on. You are incredibly capable woman, a hiking machine, all while carrying a camera for us to follow along with you. Thank you!✨

I love the sped-up "packing" video from your tent. I find that some times it goes smoothly and other times I pack it all wrong and have to start over. Most of the time it's easy, but every once in a while, I just can't think straight! I love the wildlife on this one too.

Enjoying following you along the trail. Great closeup video of the Pileated Woodpecker! And deer as well. Hope you get a resupply soon so you have enough food.

Totally camped right next to the ranger station at the base of Old Rag. They shook our tents in the morning and told us beat it, but it's all good. There was no other option the night before

Once upon a time not too long ago, it was all an adventure. You never knew what to expect, where you were gonna camp. The experience was simply more organic. You could research ahead of time but good info was perishable. The connectedness of the world has greatly expanded the opportunity of making an AT hike to those who otherwise would have been on the fence regarding the chance aspect of it without being able to so easily plan.

Got to admire the ones who did it with no connections. Admirable to say the least, I had a friend that did it 25 years ago. He pulled off the Triple Crown. He is one amazing hiker who can still kill it.

Hey Taylor l have been following your daily adventure on the A/T from the beginning. It takes a lot of planning, drive and courage to do what you do and I appreciate you taking us along your adventures. Many years ago I took a long solo motorcycle trip out west. Rode my bike up Pikes Peak, Aspen, Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. Camped every night. Had challenges like you but a lifetime of great memories. Keep doing what you love, stay safe and I will be following along with your hike. Mike B

Great footage of the birds in the Shenandoah! Sorry Loft wasn’t open for you yet! We camp there every year! Love the quiet atmosphere there. We haven’t seen a bear there for many years. We saw more snakes than bears.

I enjoyed hiking through SNP on my 2019 thru-hike, but it was even cold in the summer with a lot of rain. The ridgerunner looked at me a little puzzled since I had shaved recently, and she said I was awful clean for a thru-hiker. I didnt see any bears in the park. Good luck on the rest of the trail!

It is ok. We all have something if we are honest. I am a veterinarian and my thing is snakes. The few times I could not refer a snake to another vet for treatment I had to physically grind my teeth the whole time I was doing it. I could not make myself look at anything else the entire time.

I don't know if this will be useful, but I hardly ever see a bear if I wildcamp. It's the campgrounds, shelters and well used stealth sites that the bears are attracted to. The further away from these the better.

Taylor. Can you please answer this question when u have time. If a campsite has big mice population- if you zip up your tent does that keep them out? I’ve been wondering that. If a tent offers protection from the mice. Love your channel. Been watching you since 2020. So inspired by you💚🥾💚

I mentioned on Gabby's channel (you met her a few weeks back) that mice don't like peppermint. I've had them in my desk drawer at work and warded them off with cotton balls soaked in peppermint oil. You might try it and see if they stay away. Put some cotton calls in your pack, tent, and quilt and see what happens. Thank you for the content.
