Bauer, you seem a little homesick. Why don't you visit an environment that reminds you a little more of the US? For example, there is a US military base within walking distance of Yokohama Stadium (about 5km). Why don't you make an appointment and meet the children at the base? Or, Yokosuka, where the training facility is located, also has a large U.S. Navy base. If the cause of your stress is not homesickness, How about getting in touch with Japan's abundant nature? Near Yokohama there are beaches in Shonan and mountain lakes and hot springs in Hakone. You don't need a car to get there, just a Pasmo and a 30min- to 1hour train ride! You will be able to relax. If you like the Imperial Palace, you will also enjoy the Great Buddha in Kamakura and Odawara Castle. There are many places of interest in the Yokohama area (Kanagawa Prefecture) that can be reached by train!

But I got hurt in 2010 and was out the rest of that season and all of the next season. So a year and a half. I tore my labryum. Not a fun injury. But I came back. I was in the best shape of my life. And I was 35. My cardio was better than ever and I was throwing hard. Came back and lost my first two games. Then got taken out of the third game in the second inning. Just getting lit up. Finally on the fourth game everything just clicked again and I was back in the groove. So it might take a bit. But you will get it. You're one of the best pitchers in the world. You've got this.

Happy for you brother its awesome to be in a place where u are appreciated and where thete seems to be more passionnate fans what a blessing! You didnt deserve being treated the way you have by MLB you are gonna settle in fine in Japan they all know what youre capable of wishing you all the best!!

Ive seen alot of hate content about this. And I'm really happy you took it head on. Lets look at facts. For the previous 2+ years you have only thrown against college and kids. You are a major league player and you gotta get your groove back. It will happen, not for us but for you. And we will be just as happy when you climb back on top of that mound. Im a Dodgers fan bur obviously a baueroutage fan. You got a grudge to settle and cant wait for you to sword the Dodgers

Hey Bro, Sorry I deleted my comment by accident. Let me share it with you again. The quality of all your pitches are really high as it used to be in the MLB. I have a complete confidence in your series of success, nice pitching soon at NPB too! As you are a RU-vidr too, I have a big favor. Just as the US has the Pitching Ninja, we too have pitching scientists, institutes in Japan too. I am very curious if you, a pitching doctor from MLB talk with them, exchange thoughts, what kind of positive chemical reactions may happen? Please try & share your reports! Below is the list of such pitching scientists & institutes in Japan, I believe the depth of their understanding is close to yours: - Ken Maeda. - Takashima Gym. - Indigo Conditioning House. - Train with Daimon (Japanese pitching scientist in Hawaii) - IWA Academy. Thank you bro!

I don't follow baseball much. I have been really interested in watching your approach to the game, preparation, analysis, and now the transition to Japanese baseball/culture. It's fascinating and I really like your content and self-analysis. Wishing you tons of success. I also think this video is insightful to the end result. Earlier in the video there was a section about your having trouble keeping the splitter down...and then it appeared that during the game, all your pitches were hanging and not below the zone....I'm sure you will make the adjustment to keep it down, and looking forward to watching that progression. Let's Fing Go!!

Keep Your Head Up Bauer. I'm in a Mental Spiral of my own. Interest with my Job is in the Pits, and Haven't been able to enjoy the stuff I usually do. But I'm always glad to see an Episode of the Japan Blog! If I had to Suggest Places to Experience in Japan... If you are into Arcades, I'd encourage to go to a Round 1 Arcade in Japan. The Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) Community in Japan is Absolutely Incredible, and You'll see some of the best players out there playing Level 15+ Songs on a Near-Daily Basis. I'm not sure how you'd fare on the Dance Floor, but it'd be a treat to see 'T.BAUER' or 'BAUEROUT' as a Dancer Name or Rival! Keep up the Fantastic Work on the Vlogs! Cheering you from Braves Country!

I love that Mizuno flagship store in Tokyo. Was there on Saturday. Spent most of the time with my jaw on the ground with the beauty and quality of the Japanese made gloves. Saw your signature on the wall! Bummer, I missed you by 8 days. You gotta love that breaking in machine too! I bought an NPB official ball to compare to the MLB Rawlings ball. Be interested on your take. I pinged you a question on Twitter, so if you get a moment, maybe that could be covered in a future RU-vid video. Thanks in advance; and hope your next start goes more according to plan!

Thank you for the amazing content! NPB batters swings down, so less swing and misses on the higher pitches. I think cutters work well (especially inside) here. Suggest referencing Yamamoto’s (buffaloes) pitching. For places in Tokyo, if you are into special themed places, then Ninja restaurant in Akasaka is fun. Gompachi for izakaya food. Try Mt. Takao for an easy mountain hike, Kawagoe (Saitama prefecture) for traditional. Hope to catch you in my home Sendai during inter league!

It’s amazing seeing how much he helps his team. Even when he may not be playing the best he is still contributing to team mates that make progress from his tips. Any and every team should have guys like this that can help everyone around them so that they can constantly pick each other up. Amazing stuff. I’m a big fan and just gained even more respect mr Bauer.

Hang in there Trevor. Notice how there have been increase in haters commenting? That’s because they’re looking for the moments you fail, but notice how you rarely see haters like this. That means you’re always the GOAT, and you’re simply going through the occasional struggles we humans go through. Hang in there, true fans and baseball players know you’re the real deal. Keep being you, ignore the hate. Always love you and always will follow you wherever you go brother. -Dodger fan

Bauer bounced back with a great minor league start today and got the win! Remember he’s just getting back on the mound in these environments - a bit of time to adjust and work things out is okay, and don’t forget how well the first NPB start went either! Bauer’s line from today: 😄 6 IP, 1 ER, 0 BB, 10 K :)

Trevor I know you’re struggling but seriously your content has helped me so much as a Junior PO in college that has definitely had my share of struggles. It’s so refreshing to see that you’re human, you make mistakes, you learn and I don’t know thank you for filming this. If you ever read this I’m sorry about what happened in the states but if you never left the states then maybe you never make this channel and then you don’t have the ability to impact so many people on a much closer connection
