This was the final song where each contestant got to choose whoever they wanted to sing with them for their last performance. Love your reaction! This was the last episode and something went wrong that night. Dimash's mic was much weaker than others as many heard it. And this lady boss tried to overpower him like she was competing. I don't know. But the real winner is Dimash. We all know that. He walked away with love and admiration, numerous contracts, millions of fans, awards and dignity.

No, the woman he sang with did not with first place in the show. The winning singer was a worthy adversary named Sandy Lam, a well known Chinese singer who came into the contest with a huge fan base already in place. In my opinion, Dimash was the best singer for the entire contest. Arguably, the last two performances of the competition, which were all that mattered insofar as judging who was declared winner for the competition, allowed the rest of the field to close in on Dimash at the end. Remember, to gain traction for this, Dimash had to bust out his best songs to create a buzz for himself. He did that by using, in my estimation, five of his best seven song selections to begin the show. (Remember, he was only 22 when he signed up for the show, so his oeuvre - his list of go to songs - is not quite so elaborate as it will one day be.)
