I completely agree and the old traditional way was how I taught my children and they understood it much better. It doesn’t matter once they get to Algebra. Do what works for your child.
Im crying, when she got out and said I'm a mermaid. It was heartwarming. I'm 65 never had children. You are blessed. Blessed, blessed.one for each child. Supper blessed with MOM. Mermaid, mermaid mermaid mermaid mermaid mermaid mermaid. Silverton MERMAID MIA !!!!!!!splash!!!!!!
Its nice and very important to do things with just you and each of your kids one on one .❤❤ Omg, he's falling asleep because he's on pain meds. Just run. U can get a better tutor. Mario, Perez, you are doing a great job being a single parent ❤
are you not in LA anymore?!? and yes our math tutor for our little one (8 yrs old) has her on advanced multiplication ALREADY but uses different techniques. our tutor zooms .. if you’re looking for one! (my guy is SUPER PICKY so she is vetted to the nth degree; he’s a Stanford grad so super educationally-bougie 😂)
I am a teacher in K-5 and also an after school tutor. You should definitely have fired him. When you get back to school ask if any teachers at the school tutor after school. Or some schools will also give you a list of local tutors. Another option is to use a tutoring center. That is usually the most expensive, but they have cameras and your child will be safe. And…..YES Math is taught a different way now, but sometimes old fashioned flash cards and memorization helps. In 4th they really get into higher math and having the times tables memorized will really help because she can then focus on the steps for fractions, decimals etc.. instead of trying to figure out what 6x7 is…I wish you both well! :)
My question about the tutor is: was he a college student or someone in their mid 20's? College students will do it mainly for the money and not give a flip. I'm thinking someone in their mid 20's would be more serious about teaching or if they are a teacher by profession be more serious about it but I could be wrong.
Mia you made a beautiful mermaid. You're great at those flips. You are a natural! I would have definitely fired him to Perez. That story didn't sound good at all. I enjoyed this video. See y'all in the next one. Mermaid
Wow! Mermaid school looks awesome. Hope Mia had fun. Hope Mayte gets to try it one day. Sorry abt the tutor. Also, why did math have to change? They just made it more difficult. Recently, ordered a pizza. The cashier had to give me change back. I saw them trying to do math in their head. Idk y they were trying to do the math when the receipt was in front of them 🤦♀️
Mermaid. I felt bad for your little one but I don’t know how to swim either unless I have flipper’s. Then about what your son was saying about math, I don’t like change’s. In fact, I still can’t get used to this new technology. Anyway, What a wonderful video. Just to cute. So glad Mia had fun. ❤️
I'm seriously so proud of Mia!! We now have a Mermaid on our hands! WOO HOO She truly is turning into such a sweet, kind, and loving little lady. She was darling with the instructor. I can imagine they get all kinds of personalities there. This was a very cool experience and I have no doubt she will be talking about it for a long long time. Great job, Dad! The one on one dates with the kids are a big deal. I wish more parents would put that energy into making each child feel special. BRAVO to you, Perez! Oh, and HELL YES, fire that sleepy tutor asap!
Love to see Mia's reaction after swimming, it was precious. Sorry about the tutor, I hope everything works out for the kids benefit. I teach high school math in Texas, if I was in Vegas I would definitely tutor them. ❤️
