In this video, I anchored down over an old submerged bridge in hopes of hooking into a monster catfish. It turned into an adventure when the biggest fish of the day got wrapped up in my anchor rope and had to be pulled in by hand. Just another awesome day of kayak catfishing on the Tennessee River.

My neighbor over the back fence is from Palau / Guam - took him a year & now he’s as winter tough as any homegrown Cornhusker. When you catch crap from northern idiots, i always wanna slap them. Several things there. Great day fishing with some nice fish caught. I appreciate you setting that cushion there on the kayak nose for me but if you need it that's ok. Watch that thumb when your cutting that bait. You can fish better with that whole thumb attached. And finally I could really hear that 3 mph typhoon blowing at the 22 minute mark. Some awesome fish again. Ive been using frozen skipjack on my home lake and haven't had a bite on it in the past few months. Skipjack are not native to my reservoir, so u think that's the problem? Thanks for another good video as always!

Sir I enjoy all your video's I would like to suggest on your front camera mount put the foam like on your anchor rope on the mount so camera does not fall off and go down in the water and you might not get it back and on camera the sound part put lite foam sponge type around it secure it with rubber band see if that help with the wind just want to help out good luck on the big one Thanks and you and family stay safe and healthy

I do. I dont know about catfish. But I know bass are real odd with stuff they get caught on. I kept several 1-3 pounders in a large tank for research. And I found out if you catch a bass, he wont eat whatever he was hooked on, for around 4-5 months. Weather its shad, worms, or mice. They would all eat very aggresive. But let the original bait that caught them rot in the tank.
