That's SUPER common in rap and even in several videos Scru has done on these he has even pointed out double entendre meanings to words which on surface level don't seem like much. It's not the greatest double entendre ever yes but it's still definitely a double meaning.

The reason the superstitious/ambitious bar didn’t hit right is because the structured it incorrectly. The crux of the issue being the phrase “ even though”. This implies that what follows will CONTRADICT what preceded. Sandy being ambitious in no way contradicts her lack of superstition. So while the rhyme and flow fit the understanding falls flat. You can still connect them just not in a contradictory way. That is, unless you’ve set up earlier in the rap that this should be a contradiction.
