I'm so sorry about what happened Mads! Is a good reason to explain about your love for the cars because it makes you special. But is so frustating about cars and sex and it makes it so confusing and also it didn't understand why have difference with that, is so strange. KEEP DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING! I'm sorry you had/have to deal with that. Please DO NOT STOP! there are many women into cars! Male's need to stop with this "Jelly, hate on women" for anything and everything bs. the crazy amount cargirl sexualizing is crazy, I don't understand why THEY don't just encourage women to be into cars? to be fair males from the day of dawn have always hated women so much, so badly they hurt, rape, downplay etc women. this is why women do not want males this is why males are so lonely.

I love cars cause you get to fix it and it takes you where ever you need to go. Plus every car is different. I have fun driving customers cars after fixing them.👍 I recently picked up a 1986 celica but I need to get a distributor for it. It runs but has a misfire. The housing is cracked on the distributor lol What was the hardest job you worked on and what car was it lol

i love how accomplished i feel after fixing them, its like i can concur anything hardest job was probably doing head gaskets with motor in the car on a forester when i should have just taken it out, would have been so much easier and i ended up running into more headaches than i needed to trying to short cut it. cracked housing will definitely cause that misfire!! hopefully you can find a new dizzy in no time

I have to admit, when I first came across your insta account I though who is this hottie, so I followed your account, but over time I thought she’s cool. I enjoy seeing your insta posts pop up and I started admiring what you do around the engine bay because you do what I never took the time to learn on my own. Last night I saw the post, but I didn’t get around to watching the video until a few minutes ago. I feel the pain and anguish coming through while you made this video and I hear you. I no longer see you as some hottie who likes cars, I see you as a woman who loves what she does around cars and someone who has a passion for the car industry. Now that I’m going to be a dad with twins (boy and girl) I have to raise both to one respect women and the other not to take shit from men because she was born with a vagina. @@turboglam I enjoy cars and the freedom it gives me. Seeing you drive that fantastic Nissan is awesome. My first new car I ever bought was a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire GT which came with an optional mod, a supercharger. I miss that car it was a true beast at the time. Now I drive a 2020 Mazda 3 GT with a 6 speed manual and soon I will have a supercharger installed. I mean what I say, keep putting out that great content and I like so many others will support you the best way we know how by hitting that 👍🏼 or ❤️ and if my daughter does take an interest in cars, she’ll follow you and other awesome car girls like you out there.

I get what your saying and it is sad, but imo guys and gals can never just be friends because of sexual attraction is alway in the back of peoples minds. I can sympathize. I feel sure that the car hobby attracts a lot of hairy-chested alpha males, who have what I think of not having high "B/T ratios", that is a ratio of brains to testosterone. But don't be discouraged; there are some nice ones out there (with higher B to T ratios!).

this is a really good question i feel like i can expand on but for rn i think just remembering they are there to enjoy and fix cars just like you! i was hit with a lot of rhetoric that was along the lines of ok u can do that but can u DO THIS and it got really tiring trying to prove myself to techs around me and my foreman when i was doing the same jobs in the same time. after a point i realized there were people that wanted to see me *not* succeed and it pushed me out of the shop and into where i am now. thank you for hearing me out and even for asking this. love always ❤️❤️

I dont think its fair or right to lump all men in to one group. I am a bmw master tech. Ive worked with many women over the years and never even thought about sex. I talk them just like i do the men. And i expect the same thing from women as i do the men.. Do your job. Do it well. And always come to me if you don't know something or have a question, don't just guess. Women in the car industry is growing every year more and more.. So it's expected to see more women.Turning branches now than ever before So it's expected to see more women turning wrenches now more than ever before and me having to work with them. And as a woman I expect you to come to me if anyone is giving you a problem in any type of way. But also if i'm to treat you like the guys I also expect you to stand up for yourself and give them boys hell if you have to. But it's definitely not fair for you to sit here and say all men in the automotive business are predators towards all women coming into the industry. And also Nissan, sucks. By the way, sorry, just had to throw that out there.

I disagree. I think it is fair and right to ask a male dominated community to stop sexual advances when she simply just wants to have a hobby and make friends. Sir I think her points went over your head because you were too busy defending yourself. Her video/ rant showcases the toxicity in our society and specifically the car community. As a fellow technician our response should be how can I spot this toxicity that she is experiencing in her life and prevent this from occurring at the workplace? I hope if a woman comes to you with a problem about harassment from a male coworker you don’t tell her to go stand up for herself. This is exactly the type of toxicity she is talking about in male dominated workplaces.

I hope you read this. First of all its ok for a woman to be beautiful and one hell of a mechanic. A friend on you tube is Melissa and she is a heavy equipment mechanic and dam good i might add. She get shit constantly because, well respectfully she cleans up good and shows off her feminine side too and that is fine. It comes down to respecting women period. I love seing women in drag racing and even my mom raced. I am 63 so do the math on that lol. She was beautiful and beat up the boys bad back in the day so i was told. Bottom line dear is pick your friends wisely. Haters will always hate and we cant change that. Men will be and say dumb things sometimes. Not all men are creeps some like me like to see women in this field excel. So keep your head up kid. Keep wrenching. Its ok to be beautiful and one hell of a wrench. You have my respect. Now for some humor if you can back half a car and weld in sub frame connectors i might have to buy a ring and get on one knee. Ha hahaha😅 so have a laugh on me you have earned it and your stripes in the industry. As for the snapon truck comment that about made me puke. Wtf. Oh one more thing. There is this gal that does carbs for me and she is 21 and works at O'Reillys too. She is good.. one day she said she had a only fans page and some coworkers found out and was harassed at work. I went to my rep and told him and they did nothing. But i did. One day i asked to see a master cylinder in the back room and it accidentally fell on his head. He was respectful after that. But why does it have to come to that. Why cant people respect each other. Who gives a fuck what you do in your personal life. So that said you just keep being you and enjoy cars. Rooster 9:09

I'm a guy before anything but here is my perspective. I fully agree. But there are many car girl groups out there, without guys. I highly recommend you maybe find some. A lot of the times, they are a lot nicer then most woman who are into cars for clout n men (which happens a lot more then I'd have ever imagined and only realised after I started being more involved with meets and cars in the public scene) Find a niche group you might be interested in and stay with a small group. It will be the best thing when you find the right one. I don't have any close friends who are into cars so I've had a hard time finding people who are into what I am, especially since I live in Ireland with a population of about 4.5 million but they exist and they are out there. Stay safe and I hope you find your place where you are able to share your hobby and interest!! I find it absolutely unacceptable the way some guys treat woman, openly btw in front of people at some shows but like you said and the way I've discovered, some woman are into cars for clout, attention and I've seen them also gatekeep the community the moment there is a genuine car girl like yourself step into their circle or just surrounding even. It's disgusting from both sides but it happens unfortunately but the best way I was able to deal with it is find a niche and a group along with it, a small group at that. Large groups never work out, I've tried way too many times

6:40 we have to refocus on the sport. We're not supposed to mix "church and state", yet the church asks for the root of all evil which is money. Sorry to hear all this-it shouldn't be this way. I don't know where you live or the scene in your area, but as someone who's lived all around the US (and is a former technician) I'd say location, culture and owners play a big role in experiences around cars and retailers...Have you ever considered working for an actual manufacturer at a corporate main office? You work on the newest and latest vehicles for press fleets, races, management, etc and have access to the best resources and equipment, have training staff a few hundred feet away year round, never deal with rust or surly customers and likely will encounter other women in the shop running a few things. Also, you run into a lot of nice professionals and occasionally one of the engineers who helped design the car. BMW, Jaguar and Land Rover are in North Jersey near NYC, Porsche and Mercedes down in Georgia, Toyota in Texas and Honda in California. Just saying as someone who may have experience in this area (wink nudge). Good luck!

I understand your frustration; or at least I'm as close to understanding it as I ever will since I'm not a woman that's in the car scene. Take care of yourself Madison (at least I'm pretty sure that's your name based on some of the other comments lol). If you need to take some time away I’m sure everyone would understand; go for a nice long drive without the cameras or the deadlines or the stigmas; at least that's what helps me whenever I feel like I'm fighting an uphill battle in life.

If you do you and only worry about your passion, remind yourself that you know what your doing and always keep your hobby fun and true. Their are reasons like this that I stopped doing mechanics as my career and changed it to firearms, pretty much the same reasons and I got tired of ppl questioning my expertise. Remember stay true if there is an end goal reach for it.

Worked in the car Industry for 10 years Did the show thing, built my car full internals, set up, ETC spent so much time learning and I DROPED IT ALL overnight because people just wanna say you do it for dudes and attention. This would not stop happening and i had a boyfriend for a steady 5 years during it. I truly don’t think men or whatever they wanna identify as, if they’re female attracted - this will stop. People suck. I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this as a young woman. I would have hoped it would have progressed more. Sending support and love. Thanks for making this video.

I never really thought girls got into the “car scene“ to get laid but did think that it must be hard for them ie: being hit on constantly by guys. Dressing sexy is your choice and I love seeing it but a girl that knows about cars and has no problem pulling wrenches is just as sexy. Hopefully it is a small percentage of guys that think that, I’ve never heard that personally and probably wouldn’t think that unless the girl was truly clueless about cars and worried more about the camera shots showing her T&A than the modifications to the car someone else installed.
