Really? I'm not a massive fan of it but coming at it with a strategy and confidence can help you enjoy it For example, if you power clam, baller, roll to the basket and let them destroy the baller you won't drop your clams, scoring a sure dunk. If you're not bothered to play it you're limiting your abilities about that part of the game. Learning all the modes will in general make you a better player.
Ah I I remember a super clutch, yet hectic match in Clam Blitz that made me both love and hate the mode... was on Manta Maria, S rank, less than 10 seconds and into Overtime, our team just broke their basket and just needed like 1 more clam to toss in and win the game; but we suffered a wipe from the push. After returning from spawn and into Mid, the counter was starting to tick down and it seemed all hope was lost, my team was just swimming obliviously and waiting for the game to end; though, for some reason, I didn't give up and started thinking, enemy team wasn't anywhere near Mid at all and probably guarding the Basket. I thought that if I were to go through the fastest route, where you go from the small right-side platform that takes you directly to their basket, that they would just expect it and flatout murder me. So instead I took the route through the left-side of Their Middle-Plat and into the long pathway; and what happened next still amuses me like absolute hell. The enemy team was there, just Squid Partying in front of the Basket, all whilst the counter was already more than halfway finished. I made it within range of throwing a clam in and pressed 'A', enemy team spotted and immediately reacted to me popping up but it was too late and I managed to throw in the Game-Winning clam; therefore, winning us the game. All I can say is that I popped off pretty hard.
Heres my secret to getting X Rank in Clam Blitz: Go Sploosh 7 and just run straight for the basket as quickly as you can. Try your best to score, dont care about dying on your way back to safety. An early lead will almost gaurantee a win if your team is competent enough with defense or assisting your push. Rinse, repeat, and bam you're in X Rank!

Ummm jay when someone throws a super clam away it means that they can’t get it to the basket typically because they don’t have a weapon that can do it and need someone else to get it to the basket
Clam Bitz is my favorite thing in this game. Do you record your talk while playing? if so major props for doing it because it is pretty much impossible for me, my ADD doesn't let me focus haha
IMO Clam Blitz is my favorite mode. It is the mode that uses the most strategy, and as a result, the noobs who only play to get kills don't play this mode, and that is a very good thing.
I only hate clam blitz because nobody even dares to support me. If only my teammates weren’t such trash, *forgetting to pick up the power clam that is right fucking next to them, missing the basket when I literally need them to throw it, blocking my shots and getting me splatted, NOT THROWING THEIR CLAMS, INKING TURF LIKE IT’S A TURF WAR, SPAMMING BO-*
@ 10:51 : That's me, but when I'm using inkjet. People will just walk up to me while I'm shooting at them and shoot me down anyway. It doesn't even matter how high up I am, that Sploosh will reach me with their shots somehow.

Whenever I play ranked, I will pick a weapon I like, winning streak for some matches, then losing streak. If I don't change something, I lose rank. This is why it can be infuriating to play ranked, not to mention a sudden bad connection disconnecting you...

You have a lot of sea snail. You should find a piece of gear and reroll it 400 times. It will give you 1200 chunks to make whatever gear you want Edit: the brand does affect which chunks you get so if you want a bunch of mpu, you can reroll a piece of Toni Kensa gear :)

3:02 You have no idea how stressful it is trying to get 1 S rank. I get so stressed, that I lose a full letter rank rather that going up one. I like this game but things never seem to go my way. Or maybe I’m just bad I am
At first I didn’t like clam blitz because the manual and rules were too complicated (be honest everyone can agree) but I’ve gotten better and actually like it now because of private battles (with live streamers)
