I don't understand the hate towards the Chiefs. Sure I may be biased since I'm a Chiefs fan born and raised here, but it's not like they aren't a really good team. I hear people complaining about how Chiefs get calls to go their way all the time but they really don't. I know Mahomes is a crybaby at times and maybe that "emphasizes" or makes it seem as if everything goes his way but 99% of the time (aside from when Tony was offside) Mahomes is right about the call, he's just pointing it out hoping its called. I've also heard people say the Chiefs O line holds, they hold no more than any other O line in the league, and this season the refs targetted the Chiefs O line even for legal things. There's also a narrative going around that Brady played in a tougher era physically and competition wise, which I fail to see any amount of proof to back up that claim. This is regarded as the Greatest Era for QBs the NFL has ever seen... 80% of those Great QBs in todays game are in the AFC... Brady also got very soft calls on his all throughout his career. Some of the more notible ones were when Chris Jones softly padded Brady's shoulder in the 2018-2019 AFC Championship game that aided the Pats in winning that game, preventing the Chiefs from heading to the Superbowl, and Brady has also gotten in the face of many opponents resulting in his opponents getting a flag thrown on them... that's favoritism at its worst. Brady was known to get countless roughing the passer penalties even if he still had the ball in his hands, QBs of this era are lucky to get one after they've thrown the ball.
