@@TheMediaLogoEditor928 No I took PC parts and built a Mac on my own hardware as it was way cheaper than buying a Mac Pro back then. Now Intel is dead in the Apple ecosystem then it's more cost effective for performance to actually buy a Mac.
@@charliesretrocomputing @charliesretrocomputing , I used to build my own Mac which is called a hackintosh. But then I went to a M1 Max MacBook Pro. Just due to the shear efficiency and power. It's cheaper than building a comparable hackintosh which is now for the most part dead as they stop support for Intel processors.
yeah this is happening to me right now and I am thinking to switching to Linux because this isn't the first time this happen windows updates are ruining the windows experience

I am a AS Degree in EET, CET, and CompTIA Certified MCSE and I do understand the frustration with current Googlefied Nodellaware Windows (10/11). The majority of people have off the retail shelf systems that may or may not be of decent quality and are stuck with the home edition. But the elephant in the room is indeed the hyper aggressive Windows Defender Firewall and updates that actually undo your personal settings.
@@LasisiOlushola nope, i decided that when i have a lot of free time i will just reinstall the Windows. However, i tried to update Windows again after checking for corrupted files, and its again failed to update, but this time there was no rollback of changes or an error rolling back changes. To be honest, i don’t see any changes in the system due to the fact that some of the files have been updated and others have not, everything works absolutely the same as before without changes or errors or freezes
One more thing, you will need to reinstall windows after that. Because once you enter the desktop, everything you press won't work anymore. Even the start or power option.
Reminds me of those linux/mac users who says Windows is slow just because they keep the pc power usage to balanced and doesn't deactivate the task bar and start menu's background blur
I started dual booting Linux (it was linux mint if your wondering) I don't have it anymore but when I finished the dual boot and booted back into Windows to set it up how I wanted it to Windows said my license was about to run out like it knew I had started dual booting Linux. now I absolutely refuse to pay over a hundred bucks for a Windows license so I figured out a way with the command prompt to get that sweet license for free without breaking the bank, after I just figured out that you can't change your sound device when windows is unactivated because Microsoft claims it to be "customizing your computer" and God forbid I do that while windows is unactivated. The only reason why I won't get off of Windows fully is because most of my games are on Xbox (i have gamepass) and Xbox is only on Windows and I couldn't get steam to work for some reason.
The reason why people are complaining is the same reason why when you click the soundbar you get a gigantic fucking noise at maximum volume even though it is muted. Just because you say schedule des not mean it schedules. It just does its own thing because it don't need your peasant shit talkin smack 😅
I told windows to NOT update when i restarted. It restarted anyway when I had 0 storage space Available thank god the storage wasn’t actually full and just needed a restart…
Ive had it with windows. It only gets worse. My piece of crap laptop keeps on updating and installing crap even though I disabled automatic updates. My keyboard is disabled and I can’t enter my password because of an update it did. Im going back to Linux
Sup, I wanna now tell fix for that. If ur stuck on undoing changes, press power button for 10 seconds. Turn on again, u will most likely get BSOD. Let ot crash 2 times, it will start automatic repair (most likely fail). Go to advanced options > Use Device > DVD and it should get u to boot mng. Pick Windows10.... and boot. After logging in, run CMD as admin and type "SFC /scannow".
Windows sucks infact its kinda surpising how no one made an anti monopoly windows patch yet(at least a popular one) like sure alot of stuff is hard coded but it would be very nice if someone where to remove the automatic control and replace it with more user control, like giving the user unlimited update pauses or the ability to forcefuly shutdown connection to the microsoft server so most of the intrusive stuff stop
For me it happend from win 10 22h2 and it didnt even install the update and to update it didnt crash or anything but the best option is to. Reinstall win 10 from a usb
Check all users, if stranger delete them, don’t give perm. Delete games and blender etc, delete other addons, format computer and reload windows, detach hardware or update computer components. Delete temp files, optimize computer, this happen to old computers, we never seen this troll dialogue, new dark actions at all

I’ve been stuck on this screen for 3 fucking weeks. I can’t get into windows anymore because it fucking automatically goes to this screen when I turn it on.
First u open up services and go to windows update and stop it after this go to this pc/ local disk c/ software distributions and delete the content of the folder after this turn on windows update and rebot the pc it fix my problem
I hate windows. I rarely play games, but because I sometimes like to, i have dual boot. (Windows and linux). Each time there is update for windows it locks my hard drive and I cannot write to it from linux. I always have to exec poweroff -h and always reboot which after update tooks so much f time. I hate it. I really does. I hope some day most common games will be available on linux. Why shutting down windows takes so much time. I haven't started any program, but of course windows have run milions of his processes and auto run apps because it is f rocket control program.

or just update in time. you probably waited and clicked shutdown instead of shutdown and update to many times. and if you don’t do your update windows will update randomly. but windows even warns you that it will do it. so if it didn’t do that and just crashed your pc and shows infinity update screen. you probably have a very big virus ok your pc.
Rip your pc During a windows update it can't be restarted or crashed if it crashed well Local Disk C: will have a ⚠️ now and your screwed back up your data now!
So annoying. The solution is to lie. Tell Windows that you are on a metered internet connection. I assure you, lying to Microsoft is not a deadly sin. :)
How about check update for windows before important work? And for working PC you should have backup from day before. Ups you did not and now you will have hard time.
