Regarding the comments about the border, it's not an all or nothing thing. Sure there are some good folks coming across the border,, but you can't deny that criminals and leeches are also coming across. Bottom line is, regardless of whether they are a good person, a bad person or somewhere in-between every one of them broke the same laws when they came across the border. Also, look at it this way...what if you crossed the border illegally into another country. Do you think that would be ok? If not then why is it ok when they cross the border illegally into our country?

I agree with you. They are breaking the law regardless of whether they are good people. I see it more as the system being broken. The people who want to come over so they can live a better life usually do not have the finances (not just the application fee) to do it legally. On top of the long, dragged-out process of coming over legally, this is daunting. I agree they should come over legally, but the process shouldn't can be too complicated. Put yourself in their shoes; would you cross the border to put yourself in a better life situation. For not only you but for the future of your family?
