Really grateful for this community. I’m excited to share season 2 of IHYD with all of you starting in January of 2022. We can’t stop. We won’t stop. Enjoy the spice!
Oh is this the last one for the year? Then happy new year and merry Christmas Blackneto and budget Oscar Isaacs (you need a better nickname lynch🤞🤞🤣😂🤣)
Right, he brings his own thing to the show, just like Lynch and Joe. So far have not been disappointed in a single episode ive seen. Hands down im starting to prefer these over CZ anyday.
@@cabellism yes, absolutely. Although after watching an episode of the roundtable or whatever they call it on CZ, I understand more on how they operate. It always seemed more staged in a sense but it brought to light how they choose their decks and how they build. They do their rule 0 talk off-screen basically. But yes, IHYD is refreshing and real and their guest seem to thoroughly enjoy themselves, especially Post.
@@robertchambers3276 yea, but is kinda nice that the CZ makes sure they follow as many rulings as possible so you can learn how the interactions work. So really both shows do have some really good points for them.
He is really funny and seems like a pleasure to be around. He and Kyle Hill both need to be quiet on other people's turns though. They take over every game to the point where the other people don't even get to speak much of the time. Having a fun personality is great but when you combine it with an overbearing personality it can become exhausting. He wasn't here, but I have seen it get that way.
Just to say, tokens do in fact hit the graveyard then cease to exist. All permanents that are destroyed or sacrificed go to the graveyard first then finish with resolution. This was big change for commander as your commander would go to the graveyard first then you can move it to the command zone upon resolution of that step.
Post Malone is becoming one of my favorite famous person, I like his music and knowing he is just a down to earth guy that is also nerdy makes me happy.
Other big dino player here! Tons of Dino-specific effects were missed. I suppose it's not often he plays the deck and even less often it actually gets to drop big dinos when he does play off Gishath damage lol! Gishath is a bonkers card if you can set up the right dinos for it, but in all scenarios I find that Zacama, Primal Calamity is a better commander to pilot the deck, with Gishath in the 99. Zacama untaps all the lands when you play him and you can drop and swing out with gishath that turn still! With all the mana-boosters already in the deck it AND with all of Zacama's abilities to deal with creatures and enchantments it's crazy helpful. Great content as always. Dinosaurs need more love on IHYD! Seriously underrated tribe!
I had such a hard time getting into magic until I discovered the Commander format. This channel has just made me love it more...especially the episodes with Posty
Sending much love from south Cali, you guys are the reason I decided to hop back in MTG I been collecting cards casually for years but now I want to play commander. My wallets gonna look mad empty but it's worth it ♥️♥️🤣🤣
Glad to see another lady rocking the Eddie deck! I only have seen that deck streamed once and I'm excited to see it again.! One of my favorite decks of all times to play.
Love this show, obviously behind a few episodes (not normally!). I admit, I do not follow Post except on here and I adore his witty repartee. So I MAY be the only one bothered/cringing/disgusted/repulsed (😂) by his corner o' crocs. Great playing y'all! Love it so much and it was great to see Edgar pop so much. As well as Lynch's dinos finally come stompin'!!!!!
Edgar for the win!!! I love that this episode was an all tribal commander game. I agree that one episode should be an all pre-con game. Not to step on Command Zone's toes. A December holiday episode should be making each other deck. It should involve cash and post in the episode.
I learned the rules of this game shortly after it came out (it was actually 1995 or so) and tried to continue learning throughout time but I JUST found out that tokens hit the graveyard? The way it was explained to me was as soon as a token leaves play for any reason it vanishes. It doesn't go to the graveyard, does not pass go or collect just boom, exiled/removed from play. That's why you couldn't bounce them, bouncing a token was like a kill spell. Was that never the case? They always triggered graveyard effects? Crazy that after 25+ years I am still learning the rules of this game!! (Sometimes it is because they change it like stacking combat damage).
I love how friendly all this is! However, remember players don't have priority until upkeep. There is no priority in untap. Post can respond to the Pyrexian Arena trigger though! I think this is what Joe was trying to say, just wanted to clarify.
Technically the gishath hit should been done slightly differently. Since gishath had double strike it should've been look at 8 cards for first strike damage then 8 cards for regular damage instead of all 16 at once. It didn't end up mattering in this case but there's plenty of cases where the speration between first strike and regular damage does matter a bunch.
found 2 errors in the game. At the start of the game Post cast Abrupt Decay and targets Siege-Gand Commander not a legal target. The stack trigger for Gishath's double strike life gain. All in all was a good game love the decks.
Not positive if it would've made much if a difference but Joe had her bring the vampire token back in that she sacrificed which then took out an extra elf token from post. Could've not had any difference in the end result but small thing that was over looked in the chaos lol.
I love you guys, your videos are always funny and amazing! It really seems to be there with you all playing some good game of magic. 🙏 Hello from Italy!
Great game as always. I find that I'm a tribal nut. Out of my 15 decks. 13 of them are some sort of tribal. I've actually been trying to make a couple non tribal types. I hope to get to play with you all someday. Let me know if you ever make it to the East coast. lol
Soo I feel like I should know this but if an effect changes your lands type like from a swamp to a mountain does that meen it no longer produces the original mana?
all of those cards say "in addition to its other types" so your lands don't lose their ability to produce other colors. Blood Moon works the way you're thinking of
